    These guys are excellent. They are professional, friendly, very knowledgeable and polite over the phone. Most importantly, they always provide me with good solutions. I am a school caretaker in Hamilton managing a school of 900 kids, and when a door latch keeps failing I talk to these guys and they invariably have a better quality lock and latch mechanism that is far more reliable and idiot-proof. A better quality lock is usually more expensive, but hey, you get what you pay for! I can't recommend these people highly enough. I do not go anywhere else for my door latch solutions because there is nowhere in Hamilton that I am aware of that provides better quality service and better solutions.

    Enquired about a new door lock last Monday, said they would check with supplier and get back to me. By Wednesday I rung up to ask if they could hurry things along (as we can't lock our front door). Thursday arvo rang again and they said someone would get back in 15 min - no one did. Friday rang again and the answer was still that they were waiting on supplier to get back to them. Gave up and went to another supplier - Hardware Direct who got my lock in today (2 business days later), highly recommend them.

    Were charged an additional 'courier' fee of $10+GST for delivery of product from supplier to their showroom. Were not given an explanation as to what it was for at time of purchase. Upon query at pick-up were informed the charge is for fast delivery, something we were NOT requiring. Customers should not have to pay an extra charge for the company to get their advertised products from their supplier to their shop for them to sell. Response from the shop assistant was objectionable and rude. I suggest they are upfront with this charge to the customer or it should be built into the product price.

    We purchased a replacement mortice and new finger lock for our front door. Michelle at Handles and Brass ordered us one to fit in our existing setup, and it fit perfectly. While fitting the fingerlock we had one issue and so called up H & B and they told us on the spot how to solve the issue. They were spot on in their advice. Awesome shop, awesome staff. Highly recommend!
