Excellent place with truly lovely staff. The whole team was super friendly, and Felix went above and beyond β even while looking after four families with kids at once, he stayed cheerful, attentive, and communicated brilliantly. Will definitely be coming back here every time we visit.
Great place to go comfy couches and cushions to sit on, great friendly service. Nice family business to support.
Absolutely loved this cafΓ©! The beer-battered fish and chips were outstanding β perfectly crisp on the outside, light and fluffy inside, and not greasy at all. The batter had great flavor, and the fish was fresh and generous in portion. The chips were golden, crunchy, and well-seasoned, making the whole dish seriously satisfying.
5 stars for all categories. The staff are lovely and greet you so warmly you feel like youβre a local from the get go. If the gnocchi is any indication on how the food is, youβre in for a 10/10 meal. Itβs such a beautiful spot.
Always excellent meals, drinks and personal service, for both brunch and wonderful dinners. Return visit Dec 2020 - still excellent food and service! Return visit Aug 2023 - passing through town and only wanted tea & coffee, but stayed for two each of those and two more lovely meals. The first mouthful made me cry with delight, it's like being back in France. If they had rooms upstairs, we would never leave! And such great value! Thanks again, Hamish & Catherine.
Had lunch at Otto, was delicious. The hand cut fries were great, the burger was amazing but the brisket could have been a little warmer. Would love to bring my hubby here and sample more of the menu.
THE place to go in Tauranga. Great menu, awesome staff and service. This is the only place you need to visit for brunch. We detoured to make this stop and every time we've been in we have never been disappointed. Consistently delicious food! Try the patè - you'll be glad you did! I ordered the ploughman's platter and patè, wifey got food envy even though her pulled lambl was amazing ... oh well - next time!
