Great selection of good quality leather bags. I’ve traveled many places around the world not seen the selection and quality for what I wanted. Bought a man bag just big enough for my iPad two pairs of glasses and phone. Great customer service too!
I’ve been to NZ twice and both times made the trip to the shop. I bought a pair of Roma Sandles about 10 years ago and they are hands down the most well crafted sandles I have ever owned. I’ve walk around the world in these things and they are so comfortable and well made. Well worth the money spent. I love souls dedication to craft and I’m so glad that’s help up over time as the company has grown. So often you see cool small brands blow up and start compromising quality for growth. Keep up the good work, you’ve got a customer for life!
They produce high-quality products, but unfortunately, their service is far from satisfactory. :( I wouldn’t recommend ordering anything through their website. I ordered a brown bag as a gift for my wife but received a black one—so black that there was no hint of brown. Politely, I asked for a replacement since it was important to have the right gift on time. They didn’t believe me and asked for a photo. Fair enough—I sent them a photo. Their response? “We still don’t believe you, send more photos.” Doubting my own eyesight, I showed the bag to several people—they all laughed, agreeing it was undeniably black. After sending additional photos, they finally agreed to replace it, but only on the condition that I return the incorrect bag first, and they would send the replacement after receiving it. So, I had to trust them while they showed zero trust in their customer. In the end, they replaced the bag, and everything was fine, but there were no proper apologies, let alone a gesture of goodwill. The experience left a bad taste.
What a great shop. First time visiting Raglan. On a mission to support local businesses. Bought a beautifully crafted olive green backpack for day tripping, rad pair of sunglasses to match and a pair or orange jackals to match my handbG for summer. Quality beyond d compare. Highly recommend.

Really disappointed when I tried to order online 2 pair footwear yesterday just to find you have ro phone first. BUT make sure you have the exact measurements for you foot as per the tutorial. Went back and duly watched the tutorial and got Required info as per the website, rang the company just to be told sorry we only sell off thw shelf now. What a screaming shame and hassle. I need new jandals and have found the ones off the shelf are too loose. Will not return either and won’t be going to Raglan any time soon. Apparently they need a cobbler HURRY UP! They clearly need a media marketing person to sort out the misleading website. End of an era I say! Such a shame if you are Lucky enough to get a pair of shoes that fit just right I am sooo jealous! A fabulous product when correct fit
I would highly recommend this business,, the quality of the products are fantastic, l buy my leather belts from there, they are just beautifully designed, thick high grade leather, the buckles are quality, there is a nice choice to pick from, colors, sizes, l would never buy my belts from any where else, l have never come across such nice belts, that is my opinion. There other products are excellent also, comfortable leather sandals, they look great for summer, bags, etc.. When the belts were sent to me they were intervigille wrapped with there card and a lovely gift, they were very polite to talk to, helpful, it took no time at all to send the belts out, 3days l had them, could not be happier. SOUL SHOES deserves to be given a high praise as they give a excellent product, service, presentation, dont take my word try this fantastic SOUL SHOES for yourself. Thankyou Louise.
Purchased the simple man bag last year, and absolutely love it. It was shipped quickly and the quality is excellent. Fits my small laptop perfectly and is a great smart casual business bag that gets a lot of positive comments. Thanks guys!
So, I visited the shop a week ago when staying in the Silos across the street. The wares include a number of leather goods, from wallets, to belts, to flops, to knife holders. There were a good deal of things that were quite nice here. Fact is, it was the first shop I stopped at in Raglan, so I didn't quite estimate correctly the gem I had found. I did not buy anything, but I so wish I had. Being from the States, there were a number of things, in this simple shop, that could have done well for gifts. I'll be back to Raglan to surf, and in doing so, will come back to Soul Shoes. If you are looking for boutique leather shops, this would suit you well. Oh, one other. Prices. I believe I saw things ranging from about $20 or so NZ $, up to well over $200 NZ $. A little bit for everyone. But, if you are on a budget and tight with cash, probably not the place for you.
