Raglan Fish leans into a classic fish‑and‑chips approach without the fuss. Ribs and steaks arrive seasoned and tender. Pricing lines up with the offer. Takeaway travels well and holds its crunch. Serve sizes show solid value.

Really tasty and great location. Kind of pricey but that's because the portions are huge - wasn't able to finish a half scoop of Kumara chips and 1 fish between 2 people! The queues can get quite long so best to order ahead.

Delicious fish and chips! The food is freshly made and deep fried. The staff members are happy and eve gave us extra sauces! My only complaint is that the chips were slightly soggy, maybe because they weren’t that busy that day so it was left out a little bit. But it still tasted good regardless. Anyways, Raglan Fish is a must visit if you are around ⭐️

It was a very busy day despite the rain. Customers come and go. Not sure if we also paid for the beautiful view of the harbor because it’s a bit pricey. Hehe. Service wise, it was a looong 35min wait for our food, only to find out that it’s only fish and there’s no chips. Lol. Well, they usually go together so we assumed we’re getting fish and chips. Like 3 small orders of fish and chips for that price. Hahaha. We’re new in the area. It would have been a better experience if someone from the counter told us that it should be ordered separately. We each got one and a half small battered fish for the amount of around $14 per person. We left the place still hungry and ended up eating again in a nearby restaurant.

Granted it was on a Saturday around 1pm but waiting 1hr 10mins for a mediocre fish burger, average chips and nice fish just doesn't present good value. I'd caution against getting caught up in the self-promoted hype of this place having the best fish n chips in Raglan and support a smaller little fish n chip instead. Just my honest 2c.

Lunch with a view! Locals and visitors to the area plotted around the wharf fishing, plenty of tables outside, inside and partial coverage here for some excellent fish and chips. Plenty of fresh fish options on offer, a fantastic 10/10 chowder, I had the baked Tarakihi and beer batter fries - AMAZING. The kids meal for $11 is sufficient too. Highly recommend - excellent team on deck too filleting on site, team cooking and serving. Solid location with a chill great vibe. Friendly, fast and fresh.

Was served by a really polite young boy/man. Was very efficient and friendly. Deliciously fresh and tasty fish and really good portions at such an affordable price! Coffee is quite nice too, not often you can go to a fish and chip shop, and also get a decent cuppa too!

Walk up the ramp to the right of the building in the car park! Great hand cut chips. Crunchy, fresh and perfectly salted. Fish was not over battered either which was fresh and tasty. Grabbed some salmon steaks for dinner too, because why not! Great selection of things like raw fish, chowder, fish pies and more on the side of the takeaway section. Stoked as!! We will be back.

Great fish n chips. Had snapper and Tarakihi with beer batter chips. Nice batter and good value. Came on a Wednesday so not too busy

4.4 | some of the best fish and chips I have had. We ordered the snapper special, was delicious! Fish was cooked perfectly and broke apart while having a great crunch to it. Chips were solid, added a bit of salt to make them pop a bit more (i think they are unsalted). Prices are fair for the quality you get. Absolutely would recommend a stop!
