   I have mixed feelings about this place. When I self checkout its fast and easy. When I have a trolly of groceries there is usually piss all checkouts open and most the employees stand there staring at you with blank emotions while the line grows. Sending someone out to their car to "look" for a rewards card while I wait was frustrating as well. Most staff are so respectful and great chats

   Have been shopping here for 20 plus years. The shop has got cleaner, which is a bonus. However the deli meat now,is absolutely disgusting. The expensive champagne ham,not shaved, also the shaved is awful. I presume you have found a cheaper supply. Well this customer will be going elsewhere for all her groceries. The staff are fantastic and always friendly and helpful. So will be sad to not see them.

   Have recently started to make Eastgate Countdown my local store.Great customer service from Tayla today when I was looking for a certain product, and a cple of weeks ago Matt from the butchery dept kindly cut a larger roast for me as what was in the cabinet were a bit small for my needs. So ,so far I have struck to very special team members who go the extra mile for their customers

   Was very disappointed by the large plastic bags being used at the individual bakery counter. I bought a beautiful boysenberry muffin but was not happy to put it in this bag. Paper bags are great for bakery items and are much smaller. Think of the recyclability of paper and damage plastic is doing to our oceans. Thanks for reading this. Carol Stoffers

   Produce quality has improved of late, so that's great and some really nice staff especially Kal, she is a delight and great sense of humor too. The toilets are usually clean but could do with a little more attention sometimes.
