Love visiting Courtenay at Olive and Rocco! She listens to what we ask for and delivers perfection everytime. She communicates with the kids easily and always makes them feel super comfortable. Highly recommend :)
**edit: Apologies I should have clarified I also got a retouch colour, but the total was still more than I had ever paid anywhere else. I assumed she wasn't a 'senior' because I was positive she told me she had only finished ger training several months earlier. I also assume it costs more to have curls added so ot would have been nice for her to ask before doing them, but more importantly I wanted to see the result of the haircut. Please make sure you discuss expected cost before starting the cut! I had Mani, she was lovely but I was not expecting how expensive the service would be at the end, and I was not fully satisfied with my cut. She did not ask if I was happy with the final cut before she proceeded to put in curls (I didn't want curls and I wasn't asked if i wanted them either). Once the curls were finished I couldn't see the final result properly, until I later washed my hair and let it dry normally/straight. I wasn't happy. I came to this salon and chose Mani as she was the lesser experienced, therefore I assumed cheaper option, and the whole service cost me $60 more than I had previously got in a merivale salon. I understand I could have asked/said something before she got carried away with the curls, but in honesty I was on my phone and letting her do her thing as I tried to relax. I'm just trying to be constructive with this review, and suggesting that prices br discussed before service commences and clients get to see the final result before styling (which usually makes any haircut look good).
Courtenay and Mani are the best! They do such a good job of cutting and straightening my hair and I always walk out feeling great. I love that they even provide useful tips and tricks for how to keep it looking good in between visits to the salon. Highly recommend ☺️

I had my hair colored here, and my stylist absolutely nailed it, I walked out very happy and as an ex hairdresser I can be a tough client!
I hadn't been to a hair dresser in around two years. This was the first time trying out this salon. I was extremely happy with what Kurt had done for my hair. Very happy with the colour and the service. Could not have been more pleased with the results. Love it. Would highly recommend him to anyone wanting top notch hair results
I've finally found 'my hairdresser'... After years of being a non-repeat customer I'm satisfied and uber happy with the quality service I receive from Kurt! He knows hair.... his suggestions are fabulous and I trust him to create super stylish and modern colors
