   I stumbled across The Dog Box and now I’m driving much further from my old barber because I like this place so much. The whole place has a laid back, easy going feel, and Jason’s excellent as he’s always up for a good yarn and gives a top notch cut.

   Dropped in from out of town, managed to get an appointment and to say it was just a great haircut , skin fade n Beard trim wouldn’t be fair, the conversation was awesome and easy and l forget the young man’s name but he is married to a Aussie girl, he was fantastic , highly recommended and this will be l place l go out of my way to visit and get a trim.

   I’ve been coming here for nearly 4 years now and it’s not because I have a go to barber or because of the price (though the price is undeniably great). The reason I keep coming back is simple, not once in all this time has anyone on their team messed up my cut. I’ve had it all done here from buzz cuts, mullets, skin fades, line ups, eyebrow slits, you name it, and every single time I’ve left feeling confident. They can be trusted with both long and short styles, no question. The atmosphere is just as good as the cuts. The barbers themselves are a diverse crew, each with their own style and stories, which makes every visit entertaining. Their fashion is always on point and matches the shop’s walls of fame, filled with skateboards, artwork, and other pieces that give the place a unique vibe. Overall: 10/10. Highly recommend

   Got a buzz cut from Taiki and it couldn’t have turned out better! Booked the appointment online and was able to be seen earlier than my booking time. Cheers mate! Edit: The cut is growing out quite neat and proportionally compared to my previous buzz cut at another location - great job!

   I had been travelling for a month and needed a haircut whilst passing through Christchurch. Jared cut my hair and I was so pleased! Always a risk getting your hair cut in another place but was so happy with the service. Definitely recommend.
