   Even making an appointment, which should be easy with just one exchange, is difficult. I told them my available date from the beginning, but they sent me a confirmation date and time. When I said I could go, in the next day, they said it was already booked and I couldn't go. They asked if I could make another appointment for a specific date and time, and when I said yes, they said it would be impossible. This time, they told me to contact the reception directly, so I did, but I had to explain everything from the beginning and they told me the next available appointment was several months away. It was a complete waste of time, even though I was supposed to get an appointment right away. Since it's been like this from the start, I'm worried about the future and I'm thinking of going to a different dentist.

   I just want to say I got wonderful care and advice from Garden City Dental I was seen by Hoon Kang as had sudden toothache and unable to see my own dentist, he was able to pinpoint infection and prescribed antibiotic and advice for how it should be treated and I was seen again a couple of days later by Lucy Oldfield who gave me wonderful reassurance to stay on antibiotic for a week until I could see my own dentist to decide on treatment plan and who gave me a good check to ensure infection was settling. Going to the dentist is always anxiety provoking for me particularly after hours but I felt very confident with the care and advice I received and reception staff were also kind and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to come again if I was unable to see my own dentist. I highly recommend Garden City Dental Victoria Broome

   The experience I had with this dental practice was impeccable. First, the reception staff, were awesome. They didn't make a fuss about anything on arrival. You gave them, your name, and time of appointment, and they politely just asked you to take a seat. Om-gosh. I've had terrible experiences with dental reception and unfortunately, dentists also. Garden City Dental was that oasis in the desert of dental care. This review is to highlight the amazing care, knowledge, and respect shown by Mr Nigel Gamage. A smile is something some people may take for granted. I waited a long time to enjoy that simple comfort. Mr Gamage, showed such attention to his skills, knowledge, and rapport. This was a difficult time and situation for me, personally. Nigel removed all that anxiousness with simple respect and common decency. That is a rare trait today that can't be learnt through just a text book. As I left that visit I requested that he (Mr Nigel Gamage) ring his parents, because they did an amazing job of raising an aspiring, hard-working, empathetic, intelligent and professional Dentist. I will definitely be using this dental practice from now on and seriously suggest anyone looking for great dental care, look no further. Thank you all at Garden City Dental

   Needed a tooth extraction urgently. Was super anxious from past trauma with a hygienist. Dental assistant was amazing, gave me a stress ball which actually helped. Dentist was a legend! No pain, no drama just instant relief. Best part his dry humor. Was told " your not special, you'll survive". Best dentist in Christchurch in my professional opinion!

   Went tonight to get a filling done and had the lovely Ryan and Maria. Ryan made me feel so comfortable as I felt a little anxious heading into the clinic. Awesome place and really affordable. Went the extra mile to make you feel at ease and comfortable.

   Worst and most rudest dentists I have ever met in my life and after being treated here I had to go elsewhere to get it remediated. Go to any other dentist in Christchurch. Read the reviews it says it all. Shotty dentists and rude staff. The bad reviews are the typical experience you will get and it’s not worth it. A lot of other practices around Christchurch get told of how people are treated here so it’s common knowledge. Not worth the continuation of pain and further issues

   I am very upset, they advertise that they are open until 10pm as an emergency dentist, but the night I was in severe pain and after trying so many times from 1930 to get through on the phone. I decided at 2000 it would be faster just to get there to get help. To my dismay they were closed and it wasn’t even 2100. This was very stressing as had I known I would have tried another dentist. Due to this I was going to have to spend a night in severe pain as over the counter meds weren’t working or go to an already overloaded emergency department. This is not good customer service, if you are not going to be open then change your hours.

   I have had absolutely fantastic treatment and care from Ben Taylor and his assistant on removing difficult wisdom teeth today and a couple of years ago. Prior to a tooth removal, I actually enjoyed the experience of the descale and filling I had today. My experience with the reception staff has also been positive in all communication with them on both the phone and in person. It can take some time to get an appointment, which is not surprising in the health sector currently, but they are worth the wait. Thanks for your wonderful care team. :0D
