   Went to buy some clothes for my boy today , spent around 100+ dollars in the shop . Back home randomly checked their online sites noticed 30% off on the same items I purchased today . Was shocked as I feels its not worth to spend that much money especially on sale items . Back to store again asked about the sale , Then the staff lady mentioned that If I show them sale in online they will give the same rate and gave me the cash back . So its better to check the online site guys , its easy to get cheated as i feels its not fair enough.

   Tried to return my sons faulty gumboots he’d had for 6 weeks with 2 separate slits in the seams and therefore useless. Was told as they’d been worn they couldn’t do anything even though faulty, store assistant was worried she would get in trouble from her manager. Online customer service told me to return to the store as they should be replaced but after my experience in store it’s not worth it.

   So I seen some good sales online and decided to stop by to pick up some items. 12:30 Monday afternoon June 13th 2022 at the Palms. The saleswoman didn’t greet me first and foremost. I didn’t care that much about not getting greeted, just thought it was a bit rude. I was very puzzled and confused because I couldn’t find the items I seen online. She gave me filthy looks and still refused to say anything to me. Not “can I help you with anything?” Nothing! As a paying customer, I didn’t even bother because the energy was turn offish and it didn’t gravitate. I just politely walked out and went to spend my money at another Cotton On, where the service was great and the staff was really nice. It left a distasteful impression on me and I’ll NEVER return to the Palms Cotton On! Not even if they give me a free voucher. That’s how bad it was. She probably had a bad night or morning but as we all know… never take it out on your happy customers who spends so much money within your company. As an entrepreneur, I’d be disgusted if I found out my staff was treating my lovely customers such way. It’s totally unacceptable in the retail service industry, any industry really. It just makes it that much worse when it’s face to face contact. Maybe she’s angry daily, I wouldn’t know but I thought I’d share with the world. I only gave one star because it’s the absolute bare minimum.

   I ordered online from cotton on and paid NZ$100+. Never received my order. When I contacted to cotton on their answer was very annoying. They said the parcel was signed by me while its not and I have to chase up my order with Toll and get their approval that I didn’t get any parcel so that they can assist further. Its so annoying! I paid for my clothes and I just want to receive my clothes not wasted my time to chase up with the third party.

   As always, great 'home to street' clothing. I personally live by them, and their sidekicks, 'Rubi' (in Australia). In Perth, Western Australia where I was recently they have in addition to an ordinary retail shop - a large outlet at 'Watertown' in Wellington St. - a DFO (or, Direct Fasion Outlet), bloody cheap wardrobe essentials! Otherwise, their ordinary retail shops' sales can be stupendous. (Most cities -even towns- in Australia, have 'Cotton On').
