I was fortunate to have Dr.Melani as the vet for our cat. It was the first time for me at this clinic. My experience was wonderful. I will make this my go to place for our cats.
They are extremely nice they tried there best to help me but there was not much they could do to help me money wise but they do have after pay. unfortunately my dog ended up passing away overnight at a different vet not there fault there are very empathetic. I will definitely use them again if I need vets would recommenced.
Great vets. Both the vets and their staff were great. Very friendly and helpful. We felt totally at ease about the care and attention that Ziggy received.
Kahu loves visiting the Katikati vets. There is always a warm, friendly welcome, the reception and the waiting space is clean and always interesting for my dog (a Doberman). Our other dog, Huia and cat, Toby lived well and happily after being looked after by Katikati vets for many years, and passed away from old age at home peacefully. I find it easy to book online or call if I need an urgent consult and the vets are top-notch. Great for domestic pets and for our large animals as well. We have heard them yelling at the dogs to shut-up from the front desk on multiple occasions. When confronted by us, as they were yelling at our own dog who was barking, the girl lied and said she was yelling at the phone. Even so, yelling shut-up is incredibly unprofessional.
I had to bring my fur baby Cindy in with no appointment because she went missing and missed her appointment at her old vets. I was very distressed when bringing her in and crying but all the staff were so so kind and understanding. They took her in and helped her pass over the rainbow bridge, they were extremely respectful and made her last moments very peaceful. Amazing vets 10/10
We walked in at 8am opening time with no appointment. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they took our dog into care straight away and told us we'll contact you later in the morning. The vet called me to explain what needs to be done. All went extremely well and we picked up Bramble later that afternoon. Thanks Katikati Vets.
Excellent. We had a problem with our elderly Labrador on Friday. The care and attention we received was outstanding. We are so grateful and totally recommend Katikati Vets.
I unfortunately got the senior nurse twice she's rude, abrupt, and does not have a compassionate bone in her body absolutely in the wrong job. Thank goodness for Waihi Vets what a breath of fresh air
