   I ordered five cat toys from Kiwi Pets on 9 December and paid for shipping. After more than a week with no updates, I emailed on 17 December asking when the order would be dispatched but didn’t receive a response. The order was eventually sent on 19 December. When I clicked into my order to find the tracking details, I discovered that only three items had been shipped and that two items had been refunded. I wasn’t notified of this at all — no email or explanation — and would not have known otherwise. This was frustrating, as I ordered multiple items to make the shipping worthwhile and would have reconsidered the order had I known items were unavailable. The slow dispatch and lack of communication made this a disappointing experience.

   I ordered brine shrimp eggs, 1st order got delivered really quick. Second and third order took a week to get processed and sent my way. Don't use them if you are in a rush

   I have NEVER been to a single pet shop/store or breeders where I had to inform the staff that they had dead fish in one tank, so I looked into the husbandry(care) of their pets in-store, another dead fish, half eaten in another tank. Also their variety of tetras were stress swimming. The hamsters were scared as anything, refused to even slightly budge from their "hides" if that's what you could even call them. I have done triple R for multiple years. (Rescue, rehab and re-home). I also have a community aquarium at home. This is completely unacceptable, staff need to be trained on how to properly care for their animals. This should be taken further, it's literal cruelty. I'm gobsmacked. I wanted to buy them all just so they could be cared for properly. Might go back another day to see if anything has changed, if not I will most likely report to higher powers.

   Went here to buy fish for my granddaughter, lots to choose from. Not really my thing fish, so I had a look around and found lots of toys, food etc for all kind of pets. I was even allowed to cuddle the little puppy, so cute. But most of all I was impressed by the knowledge and service by the staff.

   Seems like a nice website but they sent me cat food pouches where one had cuts in them and spilt all through the box. It was stinky. They refunded me for 2 of the 12 pouches which was fine, however they completely ignored when I mentioned they had sent me the wrong pouches. I had ordered gravy as my cat is fussy but received jelly meat instead. I explained this in an email but it was ignored. A bit disappointed as my cat is refusing to eat the jelly meat. Might seem like a minor inconvenience for some but for me it's wasted money and a hungry cat.

   Great store. Friendly staff. My fave buy so far has been the cat house. My older cat likes blobbing on the top and my younger cat likes to beat the crud out of it like "what did you say about my mum? I'll go you bruv!"
