   Was in the store halfway changing when the fire alarm went off. The store manager asked me to leave and as I stepped out the store I realised my phone was left inside. I told them I had no way of contacting family,and none of them could care less. They kept repeating we need to leave your phone will be fine. When I asked if I could use theirs to call husband their faces turned to sour grapes and they shut the shop walked off. To hell with empathy and kindness!! The worst sort of service at such a stressful time. When we were let back in, I went to find my phone and the lady commented dunno what the big deal was! The deal is knowing and finding your family safely when a fire alarm is raging and a full scale evacuation is happening. May be that's not important to some but it was the most insensitive encounter I've had. They didnt show a shred of concern for another human being. Would not be bothering to shop here with staff having such attitude towards people.

   Similar to a review below, I went to the store at The Base (19/02/25) and the customer service there was amazing however they did not have an item I was after so I went over to the Chartwell store and gosh the customer service was shocking from a blonde lady whos name I did not get. She was rude and made me feel like a burden just because she had to so her job. She made it very obvious that she was annoyed with her tone of voice, attitude and facial expressions and it made me extremely uncomfortable. Although the other lady at the store was super nice and polite, I would not return to this store with the one who was rude working there and reccomend anyone in Hamilton to go to Bras n Things The Base rather than Chartwell.

   Terrible customer service today at Bras and things chartwell. No greeting and no smile when I arrived. No one checked on me to see if I was okay or needed help with any sizing in the changing room. The two girls working there were obviously too busy chatting with each other to notice if any customers entered. The maori/pacific islander bigger size woman that was a manager at the base was there which I'm surprised she still has a job as she was always so rude and used to drive the customers away before. Not to mention she doesnt even make an effort in how she looks when she works. Always looking unpresentable with messy hair and clothes and a grumpy face. I remember asking for her help many times before and instead of a friendly smile it would get a rude can't be bothered "no". Was ready to spend $300+ today which i used to spend every few weeks but obviously with workers like that especially the bigger one you will be losing lots of customers as that's the feedback I got from one of the other workers a few weeks ago that many other customers had complained about her. Hoping this feedback will actually make you change the way you hire you're staff and how staff treat customers

   One star is too generous, I had a really bad experience at 21 April 2022 1400pm, the staff was so unfriendly and so rude to my one year old. You staff pushed the customers away. How about make a flag with toddlers are not welcome. So stupid!!!
