I’m from Japan and wanted to see the quality of Japanese food in NZ. When I tried the karaage don for the first time, I was surprised, it was better than I expected. I also heard that salmon in NZ is very good, so I tried the salmon maki. It was fresh and tasty. The rice was a little sweeter than what I’m used to in Japan, but overall I was very satisfied. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try Japanese food here.

I got the Salmon sushi for $17. Had a very strong fishy smell and was slightly warm, not fresh at all. I had terrible food poisoning later on after eating one piece (threw the rest out). would not recommend it to anyone.
