   I had a wonderful experience at Kiwi Grill restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the menu offered a great variety of options. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel very welcome. I look forward to coming back again.

   Ordered a large big breakfast for partner and the tempura fish with chips for myself, the steak was meh wouldn’t call it steak more like Weiner schnitzel partner kept saying it wasn’t a large and it definitely wasn’t worth the price, as for my fish it was below average and super dry it tasted weird I couldn’t tell if it was the fish or the oil it was cooked in. But as soon as I got home I immediately had a sore tummy and ended up getting food poisoning and that was the only food I had eaten all day. Never going back there again.

   I ordered the pork belly pasta dish, and it was far from satisfactory. The portion of pork provided was incredibly minimal, to the point where it was barely discernible in the dish. （It was add more after the complaint） I was met with an overwhelmingly sweet taste due to what seemed like an excessive use of sweet soy sauce.

   We ordered two sticky pork belly burgers, one with a combo and one with gluten free buns. The gluten free buns were actually gluten free breads not actual burger buns. The meals took ages to get to us, by the time we get ours the rest of the family (got the food from elsewhere) also finished their meals. You only get a tiny piece of sticky pork belly for each burger, taste were pretty average. We got the garlic bread for the combo, the garlic bread was actually the burger buns, couldn't taste any garlic. Overall the meals were pretty disappointing, but at least is better than the "Downlow" place further down.

   What a great place. The staff of tonight august 24th 2023 was just outstanding. They were tired but worked super hard giving the last meal to me and my wife. I was expecting average food but instead I got the best gillr kiwi breakfast I have ever tried in 7 years in NZ. The egg was done with excellence and the sausage was so juicy and flavourful. I am totally coming back and recommend people to eat here

   Came here for lunch, got steak and a fish meal. Both were pretty much inedible. Salad wasn't fresh and the chips were cold. Both of us felt sick afterwards. Wouldn't recommend eating here. All that aside the guy at the counter was super nice.

   Love pork belly so thisw as a win for me! The selection seems pretty varied but it sounds like other people have some mixed experiences so I can't comment on the rest of the menu... all I know is that I was happy with my meal, though don't expect lots of pork belly... they give you 2 slices which is not a hugely generous amount but it did taste good. Happy with this place and would recommend as a good foodcourt option.
