   I was given some vouchers for spending $7k worth of jewellery. There was a muck up at the til and one was redeemed without me being aware but not off the price. I was expecting a call from the manager to sort it out. I’ve just been in and they can’t do anything apparently. I won’t be shopping here again. Not good customer service. Not one star.

   Jess at Michael Hill Northlands is an absolute superstar! My partner and mother-in-law had spoken so highly of her when he was buying my engagement ring, and she made the process so easy and stress-free. Every time we visit Northlands, we make a effort to pop in and say hello to Jess, she always greets us with the biggest smile and provides exceptional service. On our last visit, we asked for advice on wedding bands, and she’s now helping us with that too. Can’t recommend Jess enough!

   Asked to get a ring resized that was purchased from the store, system was down and the service staff said word for word "we have too much to do, we dont have space to store the ring, we cannot do the work, we cannot keep the ring and if you want to leave it here it will be your problem if we loose it." Assistant manager was nice in explaining the situation but the two elderly workers were extremely rude with all of my interactions with them. They should not be working in customer facing sales. Personally working in sales much of my life this service was absolutely appuling. The elderly ladies treated customers like we owed them something and we weren't good enough to be in their the store. Left to go to another Michael Hill as per the managers recommendation. Will never enter this Michael Hill again.

   Disgusted to say the least! Took my engagement & wedding ring set, matching earrings, & necklace into store for the 6 monthly check (I was late as I often am because life right!). It's always signed off no problems - for the past 7yrs might I add! Today I was told it wouldn't be signed off because it was over 6months - I understand damage not being covered if outside the 6 month check, but to not able to get it signed off, cover gone like sorry what? Again this has just started happening! What is your game?

   I went in there just browsing with some things I had in mind that I went to look at that I saw online, I was greeted by a million different questions about my life and why I was shopping, I had to cut the conversation. Unfortunately these jewellery shops only see dollar signs when someone walks in the door and not thinking about the actual needs of the person. I had a look at everything and then I left, walked into Pandora a few doors down and talked to her about what I needed, she didn't hassle me and I felt comfortable to look and not buy.

   Went in to MH to look at rings, and despite saying when I walked in that I was only looking at options and pricing for the moment, the staff were VERY keen for me to purchase something there and then. (And tick up a large amount of debt while doing so) One of the staff even took my cell phone number from an application for finance and called/texted me at home to follow up about a potential sale. I felt this crossed the line as I didn’t give my number out to be heckled at home. Although the staff were helpful, I found the atmosphere uncomfortable and felt pressured to purchase on the day which I never intended on doing. It seems from other reviews that this is a common theme at michael Hill stores. Consequently I took my business to a competitor who let me pick from their selection in my own time, and at my own pace.

   Needed help buying a lot of men's jewelry. The staff were very polite, helpful and patient as it took a long time to choose the correct pieces. I was very happy with the customer service and love my purchases with the prices that were offered. Thank you!

   Had excellent service from Kitty, an absolute pleasure to deal with. I have been a customer of Michael hill for many years and have purchased many a piece for my wife here. Every time the service is the same, on point and professional. I would recommend this place without hesitation and if you get the chance seek out Kitty. Keep up the good work everyone.
