The staff in the bike department are very knowledgeable and provide excellent customer service. However, the delays and lack of communication from other staff regarding the bike's arrival have prevented me from giving a five-star rating.
brought a bike for my son 3 weeks ago, received a text to say they had received the bike and would be in touch when it had been put together and was ready.... still waiting!!! No wait! Its actually been ready for a week but no one told us
Bought a tent on click and collect. Eta on website 1 to 2 days. We are now 3 weeks later, no tent. They found one half of the tent then couldn't find the other half, the other store had 1 half then that took a week to send. Then it arrives, wrong tent, you may have to wait another few weeks. Waste of time, wouldn't buy here again. Looks like a common theme looking at reviews.
Bought a tent, staff in Tauranga is a bit clueless. They advertise a price for a new tent for $1149 on website. Kept telling me it's a secondhand price, show him second price is $899 on website. They told me there is a 3 week wait time now. If they send me a second tent you will see a very unhappy customer. Overall their reviews look poor. First experience with them is very poor. 84% of people gave them a one star on trust pilot. Hope I do not regret this decision to buy a tent from them. They had the same tent different colour there, should have priced matched and have had an happy customer a good review. Vibe in there is terrible just feels a bit off. After reading some more review I confirmed i was not wrong. Now after 3 weeks we phone and now it is 6weeks. What is going on?
The young man who served us was extremely knowledgeable and gave us some really good advice. Got a fantastic discount through the NZMCA also!
Purchased a couple of Mammoth X9 e scooters today. Customer service was second to none. Sales person was very helpful, friendly and would definitely look for her next visit.
I usually get excellent service here. Not today. I bought a faulty product a couple of months ago, was told to bring it in so they could take a look. So I brought it in Saturday morning, as I work during the week, and was told they are too busy at the weekends to help me, I should leave it with them or bring it back during the week. I was told I couldn't talk to the manager because she was busy. As I left the store there were five staff idly chatting at the cash tills, none of them serving a customer, go figure!
I bought a bike back in November 2022, I bought a bike from in store. I understood that it would take some time, however, it was about a week after the date that I was told the bike would be ready when I had to enquire to find out what was going on (no contact until I engaged it). Then in March 2023 I dropped my bike off for some repairs as there is an issue with the gears (not sure what's wrong but I have only been bike to and from work). When I dropped it off I was told someone would call me when it was booked in, I called 4 days later asking what was happening and was told that they would call me once it was all booked in. at the end of the week I hadn't heard anything so went into store when no-one picked up the phone. I was then told that it has now been booked in for April (about 2 weeks after I had dropped it off). I am mostly annoyed by the lack of communication.
I normally get good service from these guys, BUT I bought an exercise machine that had a part missing. I called them. The guy said he could not help me. Refered me to a shop. I went to the shop. Spoke to a lady ther. I had to send her photos of what was missing. Never heard back from them. Yes she did receive my email.
