   I visited Hamilton the end of August this year and I went to the isite visitor centre for some help as I was staying with my friend but there was some days they were at work and I was stuck for things to do. Rachel was incredibly helpful in helping me book a trip to Waitomo caves and booked me the gloworm cave experience and also booked my bus tickets. She took the time to print me various pieces of information to help me including screenshots from google maps from where I was staying so I could find my way to the bus station and also the bus timetable for a trip to Raglan. She was very polite and welcoming and very knowledgeable. Unfortunately the intercity bus service let down the whole experience but this is not a reflection of the isite visitor centre.

   The gallery was very spacious and had a pottery exhibition when I went. The gallery was comfortable and had nice air conditioning running throughout. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. Souvenirs are available for purchase here

   A big applause to this excellent i-site, which is a delight in itself, with a beautiful art centre gallery attached. Plus, it is next to the Waikato Museum and the generous free 3-hour carpark. We called in twice for advice and got brilliant tips both times, for gentle walks (as one of us had just suffered a back injury), and a nice place to enjoy the view of the Waikato River, with a refreshing drink at hand.

   Very professional service! I emailed to this site about the Hobbiton tour. My consultant was Caellum and omg he was so kind and he solved my problem in a very professional way. He arranged all the public transportation options from Hamilton to Matamata, and pinpointed the Hobbiton tour time for me. Thanks you Caellum!!! You really made my day.

   Don't expect any help of the only staff member is in the phone. We waited a solid 5 minutes while she appeared to be more interested in giving travel tips to someone on the ihine without even giving a glance in our direction. Meanwhile, we could SEE the pamphlets we needed with cycling trails across behind the desk! Thank goodness for Google!! SO frustrating.

   Wonderful service from Rachel who helped us heaps with loads of information soon after we arrived in New Zealand for a three and half month tour in early November. Half way through we are still using some of the resources she gave us and enjoying this amazing country. This was the beginning of many stops at I Sites around New Zealand and without exception we have had marvelous service everywhere we stopped just like Rachel at our very first I Site. Much appreciated and thank you New Zealand I Sites.
