Highly professional, helpful and organized staff. I am physically disabled and go here for my medications and general health advice. I've found dispensary staff very efficient and on to it even "going in to bat" and going the extra mile for me to help organize prescriptions correctly with my GP. The general, photography and cosmetic staff I have found to be respectful and contentious even when its busy. The shop it self has a nice flow to it. Its well lit with product displayed attractively. There is a waiting area with plenty of seats near the photographic and printing department. Isles are nice and wide for mobility equipment to be able to move through them comfortably.
After nearly maybe 5 years of not going in this store because a rude staff member shouted at me for not having a mask on and when I said Oh sorry I will put it on now ( was only going in to get weighed) she then shouted Make sure you do like I was a child even though I was old enough to be her mother, I went in on Sunday to buy some Elizabeth Arden and was served by Raewyne, a lovely lovely lady and so friendly. She has changed my mind about this shop and if only all staff members everywhere were as polite and nice and helpful as Raewyne is the world would be a better place
Wow, where do I begin. Amazing group of people at the Hamilton Life pharmacy. With uber mix ups and then us trying to solve the mystery how to get a gift to my family since I live elsewhere. No words to describe how grateful I am thank you all so much!!! Hopefully uber sorts out their site for you 10/10 all the way down from Wanganui!
I came in on the 16th of August and had a disappointing and bureaucratic experience. Wanting a photo taken for my passport I inquired if I could get this done. I mentioned that I also wanted a spare photo for a Chinese visa but since I still had one from last year it was not important. The assistant said it would be another charge of 25$ to simply have a readjusted size for a different visa. She gave some reasons like the background must be a different colour even though I said this was not required on the website. You would imagine that for 30$ it was a reasonable price to get a photo taken and then the adjustments done before they are emailed to you which take a few seconds won’t need another complete charge. So finding the service ridiculous and no flexibility from the life pharmacy I didn’t press any further. I understand employees must abide by store policies. All is fair. So we take the photo. Which let me mention they do not provide lighting here. The photography quality in my balanced opinion is not worth the price here. Moving on to the final part where the photo is printed and sent to me. There was a small misunderstanding and that was on my fault for not clearly communicating. The assistant thought I wanted them in the size for a Chinese visa and which she confirmed after printing. To which I said that’s okay I can just take them. She refused and said nope we can’t do that. Ripped the printed paper and put it in the bin. Talk about capitalist bureaucracy. While the price was not worth the quality here. I was not going to complain because I need my photo taken. However there’s nothing I dislike more when the values and culture of a workplace are inclined to cause waste rather than value due to the maximisation of profits. To have this experience at a local shop near my home is disappointing to say the least. 2/5 for photography 1/5 for service 0/5 for ethics
The customer service here is excellent. A good amount of staff who are always friendly, helpful, prompt and attentive. Thank you to the staff who always make things pleasant and easy :)
Terrible place, to turn someone away in genuine need of advice regarding medication all because they are not one of your paying customers. Thankfully Davies Corner was not so discriminating. Shame on you. Never will I ever spend a single cent in your store.
First of all, store is all well stoked up and very organised, been here few times, everytime i come to this particular store i felt the staff wants you go out as quick as possible. I am a shopper that will take time to shop. I bought an item but had to return as I got the wrong one. when i returned the item, the staff at the counter asked me and said "are you the one that took awhile to shop just before?" 1) I have the right to return as per store term&conditions. 2)How is it matter how long I shop in the store? 3) Does the store has time limits for customer to shop??? if so please specify on the store door! so customer aware we have time limits. 4) It's good to have many staff available on the floor but it's very uncomfortable when its a bit too many. it's hard to shop when eyes on you all the time and that intimidating looks. Don't think I am going back to this particular store to be honest. Thanks.
Great service, got a passport photo without any trouble. Great range of products too. Friendly and helpful staff
Well stocked pharmacy, tidy and organised. Their prices are higher than Chemist Warehouse but that’s to be expected. The one negative is that there are too many staff on. It makes me feel uncomfortable when browsing. If I require help I’ll ask for it. Please allow customers to shop in peace.
