Have had a few problems with reception when calling up, wasn't going to leave a review but acc has put my payment on hold specifically due to what a receptionist has done. I called up to give a return to work plan to my gp, so that she could send through a med cert to acc, should've been an easy process. Ha. Never with this place. The receptionist refused to give my return to work plan to the gp, who was then relayed the wrong information, and sent through the wrong med cert to acc, which in-turn as resulted in me not getting paid by acc, and has caused both financial, and mental stress that I don't really need during recovery. Please, do better.

I finally enrolled at the doctors Tauranga and had my first appointment which was meant to be a long one but was rushed he had a quick glance through my notes and took me off two of my medications and told me he thinks one of my other diagnoses is wrong and then minimised a need for another serious annual checkup I’m entitled to! I’m not sure I have made the right decision my health has gone backwards without that medication! I’m really quite concerned about my future with this doctor…..While the doctor wasn’t quite what I expected the nurse was amazing :) I’m hoping things go better next time

Reception rude, doctors running an hour late and nobody bothers to tell you this, nurses cancel repeat script and then don’t return phone calls and send texts instead, haven’t had a regular doctor since covid as they all keep leaving - I guess it’s a sign to be fair. This is the worst place to have to go when you’re sick. Have moved on and found a lovely place to go who actually care about their patients..

After previous not so good experiences I think this led myself to assume this doctors office would be the same as others. I was very wrong, the receptionists take a lot of flack from us grumpy sick sore people. including myself- they do there best and what they can for us. They go above and beyond, if I ever need anything urgently, they do whatever they can to help, every time without fail. Peter Tompkins, Bridget holzinger, Dr saha are excellent doctors, always listen to what Im saying and always try find em a solution, as difficult as I can be, my response is from previous trauma but they are very understanding & very patient. Thankyou again.

I had a very positive experience at TDT. The reception staff were welcoming and helpful, and the nurses were kind, professional, and explained the procedures thoroughly. My doctor took the time to listen to my concerns and provided clear advice with different treatment options. Overall, I felt very well cared for and can only recommend TDT.

Generally annoying if one thing goes wrong here most things go wrong i take my granddaughter to the doctors and pretty much 2 out of 5 times theres a problem nothing particular just generally like rescheduling without asking the patient and stuff like that mildly rude staff aside from the Doctor Charlotte and Casey and one other girls whos name i cant remember ive never had a consistent experience here so if i ever need to move to a doctors Unfortunately it wouldnt be here.

I have just spoken to your lovely receptionist Maree , she was an absolute blessing to speak to & such a dream over the phone. She made me feel important and listened to. As a medical receptionist myself , she seems like such a blessing to the practice x

Dr Séan Barklie is 10 out of 5 stars, amazing GP, gets results time and time again. Special shout out to Maree on reception who went out of her way to help me getting a replacement script today as well. Great team all round!

It would be easier to deal with a coven of witches than deal with the nurses and admin here. They are frequently rude and aggressive over the phone and are one step away from yelling at you if you request a basic service from them requiring any effort on their behalf. Someone needs to retrain the nurses in basic decency and etiquette.

I've given 5 stars for the incredible care form Nurse Mia this week, who literally coached me through a high blood pressure blip on Wednesday... she was so thorough and helpful, and treated me like an intelligent being. Thank you! What an asset to a Practice! She was committed and thoughtful, and I had the answers I needed. She has also put a plan in place for me to improve my health situation, which appeals. The whole nursing team gave me a friendly send off on Wednesday. There are quality specialists at this Practice, as there always have been. I have had wonderful care from doctors and nurses here, over the last 20 years. The only thing I would ask is that the Practice's staffing allows someone to be on reception to answer the phone during work hours. I often work 50 plus hours a week and can't dip offsite. I need to be able to phone, and not have to visit in person every time, to get a job done. Please don't underestimate the value of a great receptionist!
