Walk my dog here most days, awesome area for daily exercise, only thing that ruins it, are people ripping up the grass on dirtbikes.
Really good place for having some fun here! Kids’ playground! Forest walking! River view!
Love the playground and the lake but the walkway doesn’t go all around. Every time it rains it’s too muddy to go around. The bricks on the walkway by the car park got fixed, thank you for that. Overall we like our local small park and enjoy it on a weekly basis.
Recently we discovered a walkway at Minogue Park, walking around Lake Rotokaeo. Then on up to the top of hill looking down towards Bupa Forest Lake. The easier track up there is up the steep grassy slope, not through the bush.
Enjoyed taking my kids to play so mutch happening it was a blast. There was a basketball game on at the club next door. We thurilly enjoyed the park well kept by Hamilton City Council. Easy to get to lots of parking. BMX Race Track lots of fun to watch them go!! You can feed the duck and look at the views. Would be great when the flying Fox X2 are fixed back in to place we really miss them.
Lovely place, great to let your dog off and nice and close to town. The only problem is that some dog owners don't respect that your dog is on a lead and let them come say hi without asking if it's OK.

Ample field space for athletic enthusiast, Great for walking dogs also a tap handy should your pet be thirsty. Car parking available
Mostly a big open space featuring a dirty lake no good for swimming, and a patch of bush with scattered natural paths. A new fenced dog area has just opened. There is also a bike park is next door to a kids playground at the main entrance. Something for everyone here.
