   The owner is nice and they have a large variety of items but the service is really slow even when not busy, and some food items are stale and drinks are not the best. Their iced chocolate is really bad compared to other options available in the CBD although cheaper but the one lady working on my iced chocolate went in and out of the kitchen 4 times with it in her hand? By the time I got it it tasted watery due to the ice melting and it took 10 minutes for a single drink. Their pretzels are stale and not authentic german pretzels. Maybe their lunch options are better.

   Went for lunch on Saturday with my 6 year old. He absolutely loved his mango smoothie and cookie and my Chicken/Prawn Laksa was delicious. Highly recommend and we will be back. Awesome, friendly service with a smile. Can't fault it.

   I had a muffin & flat white since we were there at 10am. The food cabinets had a good selection of food items that looked to be really good value for your money. No scimpy servings here. The service was fast & friendly and the coffee hot. This group had been to this cafe before & voted to come back. There were about 17 of us. It was my first visit. I'd come back again.

   We have just moved our accounting office upstairs and the smells coming from the Banana Blossom cafe are amazing. The owners are so lovely and friendly. I tried the Prawn and chicken Laska and wow. It was soooo good and a very generous amount for the cost. I have so many more items to try on there menu. This is Tauranga’s little secret. Will be back often lol.
