ALISTAIR AND PETE were simply great .i needed a part which was not available but Pete gave a generic filter that savex me several hundred dollars buying a new tap all over..thanks to Alustair and Pete
I was so impressed by the service we received from Mandeep . She was patient and showed us the options that were in stock at the time. We ended up ordering from the Methven range and she arranged delivery to us and for us to collect items from another store that we required urgently. She communicated well with us keeping us informed of the progress. What did I learn? Plan further in advance the more expensive items have to be ordered.
Older reception lady very unhelpful, when there was an issue with my order she suggested I chase up the supplier myself, which unfortunately I had to end up doing, because she didn’t. Then when I requested they place a small amount of silicone on a seal for me prior to me picking it up, I was told “they don’t do that” even though it would have taken no time and as a plumbing outlet they could have done it easily. Perhaps I didn’t spend enough to get a good standard of customer service but won’t be returning to find out.
The sale people in the trades section are so rude and don’t care to serve their customers. They stomped around all grumpy and didn’t even care to serve us as customers even though we paid for $900+ of products.
Just recently I had a difficulty getting sorted a problem with a Robin Hood laundry tub, leaking flex hose (tub was new 12 years ago). Try as I might with an assortment of suppliers to the plumbing industry, I just happened to call at Mico,38 King Street, Hamilton. I was attended to by Bryn Johnson, who seemed to know all about this particular difficulty and how best to solve the problem. Not only did Bryn instantly advise, but assured me , taking the Monaco offer to completely replace the whole tap with all the additional fittings attached, a tremendous result at a very reasonable price, Thank you Bryn.
