The staff were all very responsive and helpful, and it was easy to use the loan-car facility. So far I'm very happy with the work that was done. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars was that the work was expensive. I have no idea how the price would have compared to other companies because I didn't get any other quotes, but I just hadn't realised beforehand that an air conditioning repair could cost $3800. Anyway, a car needs air conditioning so I sucked it up and paid it, and I don't regret it.
Really friendly, honest & helpful team. They fixed my aircon for much less than Iβd been quoted elsewhere (and the quote I received elsewhere wasnβt even for fixing the correct part - turns out many mechanics donβt diagnose air con issues correctly). Grateful to Rodney and the team!
Coolcars recently took on the repair our classic Jaguar aircon and heating. It was a difficult and complex job and they handled it perfectly. There were multiple complex issues and they conquered them all, kept us in the loop and persevered where others would probably have given up. The car is now a pleasure to be in whatever the weather.

Our Dometic 3 way fridge refused to work on gas while in our camper in Tauranga so contacted these guys for help. WOW. Great prompt and efficient service starting with Holly in the office through to Ben and Rodney in the workshop. Highly recommend this Company.
Good diagnostic process, excellent communication (making sure to explain and consult on options before undertaking repair work), friendly bunch, and fair pricing. And, air con is now working great to boot! Couldn't ask for more, exactly the way a mechanic should be run.
I have used Cool Car Hamilton's services for many years, for different vehicles. Always straight forward with excellent communication. Naturally they encourage preventative maintenance, which is the best value in the long run. So far I have not required major work. Highly recommended for any auto air conditioning needs :)
