   I left disappointed with this salon and the service. Sadly, I had to book in with another hairdresser to fix and correct my hair the following week so it turned out well in the end as it helped me to find a great salon and hairdresser elsewhere. Before i booked at Edge, the past online reviews were great so I thought it would be good to book in. I had a male hairdresser, although polite, was quite rough, didnt blend and left obvious banding. A treatment was added at the sink which completely dried my hair out and when finishing off with a blow out, no serum or heat product was added and my hair was left very frizzy and unfinished when he had stopped. I was not happy to leave like this so had to request a straightener to finish my own hair before leaving the salon as the hairdresser didnt know how to or didnt want to do it. I had to lower the heat setting as it was set to the highest heat. The hairdresser said they would normally charge extra for the straightening, although finishing was included in the highlights package. This haidresser as I found, charges alot more than their advertised website prices which i did question, so I recommend checking this before going through with service. I also recommended they update their website. I regret paying full price. The smell of chemical straightening is quite strong as well and was overwhelming, there was no ventilation in the salon or a fan, as i had lots of time to wait, the benches were cluttered with empty tissue boxes and products and looked dusty. It needs a good clean. I will not return.

   Got my hair colored here and I’m really happy with the results! The hairdresser was super nice and patient. The price was reasonable too — I bleached my hair once and then colored it, all for $250!

Totally recommend, they know their stuff and understand how to handle even thick frizzy hair like mine. I loved the transparency and honesty that Marie provided by telling me what each treatment's outcome would look like on my hair type and which would best be suited for what I was wanting.    Worst haircut of my life, I asked for a trim I ended up with a bob. I knew my hair was a bit crooked but not that bad to cut off nearly 3 inches. I paid her but didn't want to pay anymore then 40 dollars. I didn't want to tell her but I'm a hair dresser as well so I know what I'm talking about. She was telling me to listen to her I was quiet and calm when I was speaking to her then I had enough and walked away.
