Amazing selection of whiskeys, fantastic food and the staff were lovely. Jay was especially helpful and friendly. Will definitely come back again if in town
I walked into this property at 16:07 And left at 16:38 During the time I was there nobody approached me and asked me if I wanted to drink or anything to eat I was sitting at a table and as Iβve dined there before I expected that somebody would ask me if I wanted either a drink or something to eat, but nothing. As we move into summer, you would expect the standards of service to improve unfortunately it seems the contrary is true!
Awesome food the bbq pulled pork burger was next level good! Staff were amazing too
Had a very enjoyable evening at the Barrel room. The food, service and ambience were all on point! The live music was a really nice touch. Our waiter was a gent from Kent and was so awesome and engaging. Canβt fault it and looking forward to our next visit.
Had a really good time here as the feel of the place felt warmy and really cozy. The food was all prepared amazingly and was definitely first class worthy. The only snag for the night was just not being checked on throughout our stay as I had to continuously call a waiter over and when he came over to collect our food he didnβt say a single word nor ask us how the food was. Other than that I really recommend this place for a night out as the food and drink are fabulous
Particularly loved the service offered by the barmen! They were so attentive and knowledgeable. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and will have to come back for a taster of all these amazing gins on the shelf. Thank you for looking after us, guys.

First meal back in nz. Great fish and chips, the beer was good too. Great staff very friendly and helpful. Will be back for sure! Check it out if you're in Tauranga you won't be disappointed!
Very busy, could have put on more staff. Limited lunch menu but great food. Good beer selection. Helpful staff.
Quaint place, located in the heart of Tauranga. Lots of good beer and great deals every day. Good food. Good service. Friendly and helpful wait staff. Enjoyed myself here. Would highly recommend to tourists and travelers and even locals for a thoroughly enjoyable evening out.
