Would 100% not recommend, false advertising, rude staff ( well the ones we dealt with ), did not fulfill the full job that we payed for, gave silly reasons as to why certain things were said, try any other mechanic shop but this!

STAY AWAY, wish I'd read the reviews and and stayed away myself. these guys are terrible thieves with shocking customer service. Went there for a WOF and they failed my car for brakes which they said needed to have a further check, so went back to them to complete that check which cost a further $100-150 only for it to surprise surprise, fail and require fixing. When asking for a quote to complete the repairs they were very hesitant. Something about these guys seemed off, so i took the car to not only one but two other separate mechanics to get a second/third opinion and low and behold, they both confirmed brakes were absolutely fine with plenty of life left and would certainly pass WOF. The second mechanic did another WOF inspection and immediately passed the car. Means i got robbed by frankton motor for the original WOF inspection and brake check. These guys are clowns that give the profession a bad name, no knowledge, and are just out to make a buck off doing phony "checks" that lead to more checks and down a rabbit hole where you pay and pay without anything actually being fixed.

Absolutely terrible experience! I was charged $345 for something as simple as removing a stone from my vehicle's wheel and replacing a beam light bulb. I left, only to notice my indicator wasnβt working properly, and the signal speed had sped up. When I returned, they agreed to replace the light bulb without charge. But the issue persisted after leaving again! On my third call, they claimed they hadnβt touched it and tried to charge me again for service, labor, and parts. What a rip-off! I ended up going to a different mechanic nearby, and they fixed the problem in just five minutes β didnβt even charge me! It makes me wonder if Frankton Motor is deliberately taking advantage, especially of female customers. Beware of their shady practices. Would never recommend.

Difficult to find honest mechanics so decided I would give these guys a try Team WOOF I call them .Came for WOF ,3 days to produce an Invoice .With our country all going through a lot I told myself that I can be extra patient and be patient to wait .Came in office paid for WOF Wednesday and recieved invoice through email Friday morning after 9am that was allgood no trouble.Team WOOF Failed WOF so due to the delay of Invoice time is against them no problem I went away to have The list fixed by Team BARRY -Frankton mechanical 71 commerce st the following week .Team BARRY Reassured me a well experienced mechanical engineer to leave everything and Team Barry will get Job done and was genuine , explained everything to me on the list and he completed everything and car was repaired .Team Barry called me to say everything is fixed & done to be returned back to TEAM WOOF .WOF re-checked again we returned back to TEAM WOOF and still FAILED ?? on a rack boot and light alignment . Returned to TEAM BARRY who reassured me once again that he had fixed my WOF repairs and he was very HONEST Genuine about it and I believe him .Team BARRY said he will speak to Team WOOF and that everything will be sorted for me . Left Team BARRY my car keys and like TEAM BARRY reassured the first time to leave everything to him and his Team that they will take car themselves to TEAM WOOF themselves. Went away and about 1hour later Team BARRY called me to say your WOF Passed and your car is ready. Team WOOF (Frankton motor) I would like to think that you are a great business with 5 star service Im sure ; But for now itβs a 2x βοΈ βοΈ

I recently had some work done on my car with Frankton Motor. While the work done was adequate, I felt the customer service I received was subpar. My car threw an engine warning and a diagnostic scan was completed. When I was informed of the result (My Oxygen Sensor 2), I asked whether anything further had been investigated and I was told that the scan and test drive was enough. I was provided a quote, which was eye watering, however I accepted it and booked my car in. I was informed late in the day that my car would need to stay overnight and then received a call at 5:30pm to inform me that my spark plugs were dead. When I was provided the quote for the spark plugs, I advised that while I was accepting the quote, I was not happy with the way my situation had been handled. Instead of acknowledging the feedback and moving on, they argued with me. Once my spark plugs were replaced and paid for, I was informed that my car was overdue for a service, as my oil was very dirty. I found this funny as there is clearly a sticker on my windshield that states the date of my last service (Sept 23). I have since had my oil checked and it is not dirty. Overall, I found my experience with this company to be less than fantastic. I found them to be overpriced and argumentative. I will not be taking my car back.

Lovely family business! I went in to get a WOF for my car which was only $55. Quite cheap compared to a few others around and great service. Highly recommend!

Failed wof due to chassis issue as per Frankton Motors. Vechile imported 2 years ago. Never had chassis issue in previous wof.Needed panel beaters report. Panel beater couldn't find anything to repair. Took it back Frankton motor. Got told there's paint on the chassis not a actual damage and they want that removed and checked. Told me they were only paid for Wof check. Basically telling me they can remove paint and give a report if I pay for it. I was not going to pay for something no other inspector had problems before. Took it straight to VTNZ for recheck. Passed with no issue. Either this place was trying to make money off me or VTNZ and other inspectors doesn't know how to check.

I have been to many mechanics and this is by far the best one I have been too, all around great communication from the office staff. You can really tell they take pride in their work. Super lovely, affordable prices, and did a fantastic job on my car.

Best car repairs I have come across. Even better that there is an afterpay option especially for those who can't get assistance through WINZ or can't get loans. Receptionist is great at communicating. Also sorting out towing etc. Definitely recommend! If I need any further assistance I will definitely be going back to them. Great service and my car is running better than ever.
