   “Above & beyond” is how I’d describe this business, managi & staff whom I met!! Needing a few repairs to meet WOF compliance, I’d booked my car in for a Quote after a VTNZ WOF inspection. Quote received, payment was made upon delivery of my vehicle for repairs, expecting to collect it the next day as AFFORDABLE AUTO SERVICES requested. To my absolute delight, they not only completed all repairs that same day, but also issued the WOF as well!! I can not recommend their services enough; they absolutely ROCK!!

   Really helpful friendly staff, were very accommodating and fit me in at for a trailer WOF at short notice. Was impressed with the quality of the work done too. Would’ve been good to have more in store parts and accessories on display maybe? Oils, filters, spark plugs, lubricants etc to look at while I was waiting. And I was dying for a coffee but the coffee machine was out of order. Apart from that I would definitely recommend Affordable Auto Services for repairs. I’m sure I’ll be back in the future.    Really good customer service but not so good mechanical work. Charged me an arm and a leg to fix something that wasn’t the original problem, talked like they knew what they were talking about, enough to convince me (someone who doesn’t know a lot of about cars, go figure), then took a few weeks on my car, all for it to BREAK down on the highway due to exactly what they apparently replaced. Gutted I spent soo much, and am having to pay even more for someone else to fix and replace these parts again, as I simply can’t trust for them to touch my car again. I could go on and on about multiple hiccups along the way but I think you get the swing of things. Wouldn’t recommend.

   Customer service was good but the service on my car was not. Ended up having to go back again nearly 2 times because of the problems I still had and got when I got my car back. The first time I picked it up I had to take it back because one of the break lights were still out, that they should've picked up on (he did apologize and did the break light for free). Another reason was because the steering wheel was not lined up straightly and instead leaning to the right (which was not like that when I took it in). When I took it in and told them the issue they said I probably just needed a wheel alignment, after explaining again to them that it was not like that when I droped it off they still said it probably just needed a wheel alignment. After picking the car up the 2nd time and going into the boot just to find a piece of the boot inside the car (don't know what the piece is called) was lifted (it looked like they tried a half-arsed attempt to put it back but instead gave up and I had no clue about it). I ended up going to another place for a w.o.f and when he did the inspection he found one of the strut mounts had cracked and said that who ever did the inspection on my car should've picked up on that as well :)

The service was quick and I was really surprised as we had used the service over a holiday period so we were thankful for the quick and effective service. I would absolutely recommend Mike and his team to anyone looking for vehical repairs or maintenance.

   Rang this place up to get a quote to swap out my steering rack was asked to bring my car down for a proper quote. The service was top notch from the phone call all the way to picking up car. The pricing was very fair and reasonable. 10/10 would recommend. They also managed to do it all in one day even though they had said it would take longer, also gave me a courtesy car while they repaired my car. Thank you guys, really appreciate your work.
