    Great location and friendly service but the eggs bene was a bit of a let down. It doesn't need to be some fancy art piece. Give me substance. I felt like a hipster millennial was let loose in the kitchen. The flavors were fine, but definitely not worth the price and that's coming from an Aucklander.

    Had a great experience at Tay Street Beach Kitchen! The location is fantastic, with both indoor and outdoor seating options β€” perfect for enjoying the beach vibe regardless of the weather. We ordered the Eggs Benedict, Sticky Chicken Salad, and the Smashed Avo β€” all beautifully presented and full of flavour. The standout, though, was definitely the crispy potato skins β€” super crunchy and delicious, though just a touch on the oily side. Service was friendly and efficient, and the overall atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Will definitely be back!

    Came on a busy day and was informed of a 45 min wait. Food arrived approx 30 mins after ordering and was faultless. Coffee was excellent also. Would recommend the mince on toast and house made bacon.

    It's a beautiful place and me and my friend really enjoyed eating there. The window seat looks out to the beach and it's lovely. It's very pet friendly and everyone was super sweet and nice. Highly recommend going if your looking for a place to chat and enjoy the view.

    Great local cafΓ© on the beach. We went on a sunny sunday morning and it was humming and they accommodated our large group. Staff were friendly and efficient. They have a good selection of brunch dishes and great coffee. Would highly recommend.

    Good coffee and tasty food. Very popular in summer but we managed to get a table outside in the sun. Looking forward to going back again.
