    Overpriced and under portioned. Tiny pieces of fish and one was even half the size of the others. No they didn't give us extra to make up for the tiny sized fish. Chip portions are tiny Food was only average. Save your money and get better quality and quantity elsewhere. Won't be back

    make sure you check your receipt especially over phone order .they dont understand english well and if the order is wrong they will not replace your order or refund it you will have to pay again to get what you want. so check your food before you take it home and check your receipts

    Service is great but pregnant wanted chicken chow mein with crispy noodles.. noodles all soggy and mushrooms were in the chow mein never had that and the sauce was full of mushroom flavour very overpowering and couldn’t continue to eat it..

    We have been going to Papamoa Takeaways since 2005 and have always had great food from this lovely family. The review showing a picture with crinkle cut chips is wrong. They don’t do those kind of chips and never have. Mei and her family work hard and have always been part of the Papamoa community. We never go anywhere else. 100% amazing every time. Would highly recommend.

    Best fish and chips in Papamoa. Light crispy batter and often have "fresh" fish. Lovely chinese dishes as well.

    $46 bucks worth of fish and chips??? Seriously??? What a joke. Pathetic serving of chips and then had to ask for sauce on the hotdogs. What a rip off.

    The worst value for money and quality I’ve ever experienced! Do NOT waste your money here! $30.00 for a package the size of my hand. Half a scoop of chips was the most miserable helping of small fries ever! Absolutely dreadful!!!

    Worst takeaways I've had Unedible scallops that looked like they were 10 plus years old chickenbuger was like rubber and wasn't sure if it was even chicken average chips rank as Lettuce in the burgers I don't ever write reviews in fact this is probably my first one just need to warn people about this place as it's junk see photos
