Beautiful afternoon. We really enjoyed the food. Staff are just wonderful. We feel so welcomed. One of our favorite restaurants in Tauranga. My husband had lamb stone grill he loved it. I had mussels with ciabatta bread lovely. Deserts Strawberry milkshake yummy. We will be back soon..
The meet was incredible, and the salad as well. Really good value for money and super friendly staff! I will come back soon!
Had brunch at CBK Craft Bar & Kitchen — loved it! The coffee was really nice, and they had a good selection of small eats. Chill vibe, clean toilets, and the staff were super friendly. Great spot for a relaxed bite. Will definitely be back!
we went here for lunch, average service though we did find it took awhile to get served as the people were talking and laughing about things. overall good presentation on the food & a reasonably clean restaurant. we were okay until we ordered our beef brisket nachos - it was mistaken as pulled pork nachos. we couldn’t eat it as we thought the flavours were off & couldn’t exactly tell why, until we realised on the receipt the waitress mistakenly ordered “pulled pork nachos”, which we didn’t see until we actually left. I would give a higher rating if we didn’t get given pork nachos instead of beef as it was very expensive. the hot chocolate was a good flavour and the side of curly fries was average.
Definitely has potential. Went here 3 weeks ago. Nobody greeted us when we came in and had to ask the bar to be seated, who then got a waiter to seat us. We sat for about 30 minutes waiting for someone to take our orders until I had to get up to ask the bar again for assistance, who then again had to get a waiter to take our orders. Ordered 2 burgers, which took 50 minutes to arrive even though the place was relatively empty. Burgers and fries arrived at room temperature, and burgers weren't seasoned and pretty bland. During that time, not one waiter came to ask if we needed anything during the wait or to even let us know that there would be a delay. Fries were plain and had zero seasoning or salt. Cocktails were actually decent. The guy seated next to us became increasingly agitated as he ordered an ice cream just as we were seated and only got it 5 minutes before we got our burgers. Staff appeared a bit clueless and seemed a bit understaffed as there were only 2 or 3 waiters for the whole place and seemingly didn't have time to help us. Reading some of the other reviews, I wish I had made a fuss about the food, as apparently it's usually decent. However, we didn't experience this. 50-minute wait for 2 bland meals and a pair of basic cocktails for 75 dollars. Imo price is not worth it, and I will not be returning any time soon. Hope they can improve as CBK has a lot of potential!
Spectacular service!! We felt very comfortable and were treated very well. The food was AWESOME!!!!! Hope to be back soon!
I popped into CBK with a friend for some food and a few beers. We ended up chatting to the owner, nice guy. He mentioned he’s setting up a cocktail area soon. I will definitely be going back there to try some cocktails out. Cheers Billy, all the best.
