The experience of dining out at this Thai restaurant on a Saturday afternoon was lovely. The ingredients of the dishes felt very fresh. The salad, the sides, the veggies in the fried rice and the green curry - they all were good and fresh. The taste of the dishes (green curry, friend rice, satay on rice) were on point. I would have personally preferred the satay sauce to be a little less sweet though. But still, it was on point. The rise was fresh and light. The spring rolls did ilnkr smell of bad oil (you'd be surprised to see how many Thai restaurants have spring rolls smelling of bad oil). The fried ice cream was fun - though heavy as expected. The taste was great. The sticky rice with mango could've been slightly different with fresh mango slices (instead of preserved mango slices they served) - especially when fresh mangoes are available currently. The ice cream was a good touch - not seen at Thai restaurants in Thailand or South East Asia. The service was excellent. Navin (the gentleman waiting on us) managed to pull off vegeterian versions of dishes when requested - like green curry (where we requested not to even put tofu, and he managed to get the kitchen to do that). Such flexibility increases the attractiveness of the restaurant immensely. This would definitely be my one of my go-to restaurants when in Tauranga. Strongly recommended.
Very nice food! The best Thai restaurant I've ever been. I eat four meals here and everything is amazing! The severe here is also very nice! Definitely recommend!
Disappointing takeaway Jungle Curry and Pad See Ew ordered on DeliverEasy. Both dishes were really bland and relatively pricy. Weβve had far better dishes elsewhere. Iβm not a fan of leaving negative reviews but thought I would be honest for others out there.
Went here for step dads birthday dinner. Food was brilliant. As spicy as you want or completely mild and safe. Prices are very good and value. Staff were excellent, friendly and efficient. Room is quite noisy though. Will sit outside next time because of noise- be clear- this is not the business fault... Highly recommend.
In my opinion one of if not the best Thai restaurant in NZ. Friendly service and typical calm and warm Thai music and atmosphere in beautifully decorated setting. My lamb rack was amazing. Prepared exactly as I ordered - not too spicy and not over cooked. My wife's Salmon Thai style equally great. A must visit for lunch and dinner.
Awesome. I try to check out local Thai spots whenever I'm travelling or somewhere new and this is somewhere I'll be back to. I'm fussy and fairly critical but the food here tasted amazing, had generous portions and priced to attract return customers. Had the duck curry and it was loaded with Duck. Good service too with a classic local Thai restaurant atmosphere. Thank-you.
