   We went to the Orchard for lunch on Friday, a gift for our 50th wedding anniversary. I ordered the scallops entree and I have to say I was so disappointed!! It came out on a thin black plate , fried plain in grease and very salty- 1 stick of green garnis $39.00. Cmon Orchard up your game or more of us will be moving on. We expect good food done well.

   I have delivered here working for Bidfood years ago. Never actually eaten here, until just last night, for our work Christmas dinner. The service was great, atmosphere was awesome. Oh and the food.. Was to die for. Only beef I had was there wasn't enough seafood options. Otherwise fantastic..

   We come here to the orchard to celebrate family birthdays with extended family members. The staff are extremely helpful with taking the booking and with friendly service on the day. The chef does a fantastic job ensuring the meals are delicious, beautifully presented hot and given the high number of guests it delivered with minimal waiting and together. The restaurant/ bar is spacious clean & tidy and a nice family atmosphere

   It's OK ,very nosey inside ,food is ok . Really hard to find food that is not full of stuff you don't want. It would be nice to get a stacke with egg and chips. A Sheppard pie with a nice bread. A hamburger like the good old days. Lambchop with mash, peas and gravy. Sorry but it is a trend for restaurants in tauranga to make foods that are full of spice.

   After a hard day's work, it is nice to settle into the corner with sports on in the background with a nice drink. The food was a good quantity not leaving us too full as restaurants tend to do these days. It is a great place to hang out without having any pressure and just be able to relax.

   This was my first time being here. The employees are kind and happy to help, but the frys portion’s are quite lack-luster. Edit, asked the waiter how much the chips were when I was ordering, $14 she said, later when we were paying the bill and reading over it. Quite to me amazement the chips totalled $18, a whole $4 difference. Not happy

   The chicken in my burger was so beautifully cooked, moist, juicy and tender. The bun was perfectly toasted. The cheese perfectly melted and the bacon was perfectly cooked with burnt crunchy outside bits....but no flavor!!! Add some yummy sauce. ..... some seasoning!!! Chips were great..crunchy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Hostess seemed rushed and flustered...sat me down without the complete menu...I didn't know much until I walked up and asked the bar staff. The bar staff were so helpful and very friendly. Gonna take alot to get me back. But that chicken was ABSOLUTELY PERFECTLY COOKED!

   Was a little disappointed in the seafood chowder, huge plate but didn't feel like much chowder. Also would be nice if they did a decent sized large coffee. Two shots in a cup that is barely detectably larger than the regular is just too strong, but my wife ordered it for me and I would've ordered a single shot "large" instead. The chicken burger was massive and pretty good, and the fries were good too.

   My Mother & Father Had the Scallops Dish My wife had fish & Chips meal while I had a Sirloin steak meal they were all absolutely beautiful and tasty. The service was excellent. Would highly recommend this. Where from Blenheim on holiday. Regards Brydon family.

   Incredibly disappointing dinner at The Orchard. Very overpriced food - $47 for this?! I asked for my steak to be cooked medium and I got rare. I sent it back and the steak was returned exactly the same. Very little mushroom sauce too. Two stars for the drinks and good service but would absolutely not recommend this place as a restaurant.
