Woolworths Dinsdale is easy to navigate which is great.. the aisles are well signposted and the staff very obliging. The queues can be long and busy depending on what time of day you visit but it's good service... On Tuesday pension day it's busy but you get a discount on your groceries when presenting your gold card and ofcourse Woolworths rewards card which is a good incentive. They have public toilets in the premises with good car and disabled car parking available to customers.
Absolutely amazing customer service visited this store straight from getting off a flight from Perth & needed to use the toilet the staff member that helped me was so friendly so were all the other staff I engaged with shelves are well stocked & the store was clean and tidy A++++
I bought a sieve last month and it was damaged due to poor product quality. They knew I was a frequent customer but they didn’t do me any favours. I repeatedly told them it was the problem of product quality but they didn’t buy it and refused to refund/replace. I had to speak to the manager to deal with it. They pick on the weakest/easiest, even though you didn’t do anything wrong. You should know shoplifting is very common in this store, but they just watch it happen and let the offenders go, never say a word about it. When you are a good citizen and pay your fare but sometimes your items are broken/faulty, they don’t give a toss about it, trying to blame you for not using correctly. Should have sacked those non kiwi employees, arrogant, rude, always serving with attitudes. After being a loyal customer for years, it eventually turned me away. Will not come back, not recommended.
Fruit & Veges are still highly priced. 3 small size packs of meat for $20 choose from selected packs with 3 for $20 stickers stuck on packs. Ideal for a pensioner, uni students or if you are on a low budget but can whip up a family of 3-4 good size meals per small pack then dinner is sorted.
Busy Supermarket this one! Good supply of food stuffs/household supplies stocked here most of the time. They meet our requirements anyway! Staff are helpful. Thanks !
Worst supermarket in living memory.Shelves constantly out of stock.Meat extremely expensive and poorly cut.Poor range expensive fruit and vegetables.Fruit far better and cheaper a few doors down the road.Complete absence of management on the floor which allows poor staff performance.This is My local dairy I go into central Hamilton to by my weekly groceries.I don't think anyone from head office ever visits to check it.The constantly dirty trolley bay and unfilled shelves would be a good start.
Easy, quick trip this morning. Shop well set out. Good use of space, well lit. Used self service aisle. Staff always present if you need a hand. Great service.
Very convenient location but often find myself traveling to other countdowns purely because the parking is a nightmare at this store and trying to exit can take a long time and be dangerous getting onto Whatawhata Road. Veggie section not the greatest either, but there is a very good organic and gluten free area (conveniently next to the wine) that is amazing.
