Great selection of sweets for Diwali gifting. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful

Ordered pizza from Pizza Hut Mount Maunganui at 7:15 PM on 11/06/25. Very disappointed — I only received a plain base with cheese and a couple of wedge slices. Not up to Pizza Hut’s usual standards. Please improve quality and service.

It is my first time in Tauranga, and my friend recommend this place. I had kadhi paneer and Samosas, Very amazing food. The young man who served me was very nice and friendly. Little surprised by 1 star reviews this place has. But overall very nice

We ordered veg noodles and pav bhaji, and the food took 30-40 minutes to arrive despite the restaurant being empty. The taste was absolutely bland, and the presentation was equally poor. I’ve added a photo—if you like that presentation and texture, go for it and eat it. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

One star I am giving only because of delicious samosa. This place is a cheat. Please check bill before do the payment. We ordered panipuri, Chinese noodles, punjabi sabji and cheese naan. They didn’t provide us any plates while we got the noodles. We ate from the serving plate itself. While having main course we asked for the plate, they did gave us happily,! But can you IMAGINE, they charged us $3 for the plate that we asked to eat, how disgusting. Also, cheese naan for them is Cottage cheese naan which haven’t been mentioned anywhere in the menu. (Height of cheat) As food wasn’t delicious, we had leftover and so that we asked for the container so that we can give food to someone who can at least fill their tummy. We have been charged $5 for containers too. I can never recommend dine in to anyone at this place.

I was visiting Tauranga from Auckland and looking for Halal food, and I found this place as Vegetarian recommended place. So I went for a Chai in the morning and ordered Tea and Samosa. It’s the best Chai and the Samosa I have eaten in New Zealand. The establishment is old, but the food and the service I received definitely deserve 5-star ratings. I cared about the food and the service more than the place, so definitely, I will be going again. The person who served me ( Panjabi gentlemen), he deserves all credit for the service.
