I was craving sushi, so I went to this place near my home β it had the best rating around. Even though I arrived just before closing, everything was fresh and delicious. The owner(?) was also really friendly!
The staff were friendly, and the udon and dumplings were incredibly delicious. The shrimp tempura in the udon was especially fresh, and our young daughter enjoyed both very much. We will definitely returning.
The sushi was good, but I have a Donburi with Salmon, and honestly for $20 I feel disappointed, the nothing special and the plated don't look like the picture, almost nothing of avocado and the salad was tasteless, so for the price don't worthy. If you go after 4pm you get a discount in the sushi, so that's worthy, go for the sushi only.
Best Sushi in the Bay of Plenty! Friendly staff, great food, always fresh, always lots to choose from, love being able to pick our own and mix it up, great prices. My family and I just love it here.
Everything about this place is amazing. it really feels authentic, and all the food is great with a lovely atmosphere and nice people. It's a nice and quiet corner to grab a bite to eat for cheap, one of the best sushi shops around
The sushi here at bay sushi was very enjoyable, the filling to rice ratio in the sushi is perfect. I enjoyed very much how they give the customer the opportunity to dish their soy sauce, ginger and wasabi. The one downfall that I had notice was that the taste of the chicken itself in the sushi was not the best if they were to change the recipe of the chicken I would happily give this place 5 stars.
