I’ve never left an upset google review before, but after my experience in store this morning, I’ve been upset all day at the horrible customer service (or lack of) service I received in store today. I was shopping for a work Christmas party dress, and going between stores in centre place to find something. I walked into your store and saw the attendant down the end. I smiled (wasn’t acknowledged back) and browsed, she walked from the back to the counter, no acknowledgment or asking if I needed assistance yet. I keep looking around, and I start to feel uncomfortable in your store I’m the only person walking around and this lady hasn’t come to help or even acknowledged me by saying hello. I walk right past her at the counter as she is writing in a book, SHE DOESNT EVEN LOOK UP! at this point I realised it’s intentional, by her not looking at me or even saying hello, acknowledging the human in store I realised then, as she had seen me earlier walk in that I wasn’t worth her time as a customer. I stayed in your shop for an uncomfortable 3 mins with no acknowledgment until I finally left. I left the mall so upset. Im in my thirties now and worked retail when I was young, I know how the training works, this person wasn’t ill trained, this person wasn’t having a bad day, that person was a judgemental dare I say the R word. And it’s definitely left the most sour taste in my mouth towards that store.
Once again I had an awesome shopping experience with Kendall. She really couldn’t do enough and has a wonderful handle on her stock. Made my day! A real asset to Taking Shape. She loves her job and speaks so highly of her Company. It shows in her care for customers. Shop is packed to the gills. I think a larger premises would be great but most importantly extra cashier stations. I’ll be back for sure! Thanks Kendall.
Loved my whole experience in the store. Ange was so nice and helpful ( so was the other younger girl, I'm sorry I didn't ask you your name!). I wasn't sure what to expect and was even hesitant cos it was my first shopping experience in NZ on my own (moved here last September but didn't shop much until now). They were so friendly and even made conversation with me while helping me out. I went back a couple of times to buy more stuff. Will surely go again. They've also got great stuff.
