   So... this burger cost $17.50! The beer behind it is $14. Like, whoah, I felt a bit like a joke was being played on me. Most of the staff okay, one guy in particular was amazing. Management, either make your food look more impressive or cut the cost a bit! Yikes!

   I dunno what they did to the fish but it just wasn’t up to scratch. Didn’t taste fresh, portions were a little light in the fish. Staff were nice. Wish I’d gone with my instincts and eaten at burger king.

   Go somewhere else. Staff not interested, polite but not really invested. Loaded wedges were dry, crisp cheese, bacon was not - it was little cubes of reconstituted ham, just dry. The coffee was cold but well made.

   Passing through yet again, through Christchurch Airport. Food options at the airport are nominal so thought I'd give this place a shot. The loaded fries honestly seemed like they were cooked two hours earlier and reheated. The taste would have been much better if it was cooked fresh which I'm sure they weren't. Calamari was ok but also seemed to be microwave heated or left in a Bain Marie. The lemon lime & bitters was great. For the price paid I think it was fairly substandard. However the staff and service were fine. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ and that's on account of the staff or it would have been ⭐️⭐️.

   First advice read all the reviews before going there ! Second advice is if you are looking to grab a beer before the flight with a view overlooking the runway this is your place and probably the only decent place at this ironic “international” airport. Staff is nice and friendly, decor and seats are well done and stylised for the pub feeling. That’s about it. Last advice in line with all others, which is doesn’t matter how hungry you are do not order any food here ! Pizza is just microwave heated, overpriced supermarket pizza. Burgers are tasteless and nachos again microwave heated with some cheese on top. All quite heavily priced and not worth your money. Seriously if you have time it’s better to walk 10 mins to nearby Spitfire Square and get decent food over there.

   Spend some time here waiting for my flight. Had a couple of Mac’s Gold and Beef Nachos. Would recommend for killing time at the airport.

   Best pub meal you'll get at this airport. Only slightly over-priced for slightly above average food. If you don't feel like fast food and have time to kill, park up in the spot near the back where you can see the runway. Otherwise, if you really wanted a Macs beer and a snack this is your best option!
