    Disappointed. Ordered spicy squid dumplings, pork dumplings & a steam bun. Both orders of dumplings were burnt & steam bun was fridge cold. Sad.

    Japanese food is always our family favourite. First time to dine at Hachi Hachi, reading the reviews makes me hesitant to try. Yet I am not disappointed. I had my spicy ramen and the melt in your mouth pork belly, yum! Husband had katsu tama don, and my son enjoyed his Kaarage crispy chicken bento. We also had gyoza and pork bun! Quick service and good meal, I would recommend.

    Been a regular customer for a long time with no issues but experienced the worst customer service today from cashier YUTO J today. Was told in a rude manner that they don't do chicken dishes at all since the store opened even though they are all over the menu and I have been ordering them all these time until now. Surprisingly, the customer behind me managed to order chicken curry . YUTO J claimed that he has been working at the shop for many years and could not be wrong. Totally ruin the dining experience and will never go back again!

    Went there after work on Monday to buy 24 piece platter sushi and they could not help me as they need 4 hours to make it. Called them the following Wednesday for that same platter of 24 pieces and gave them the 4 hours they ask for and they cannot help again as they dont have ingredients. Very poor.

    My favourite place to eat in Rolleston. Love the teriyaki chicken on rice meal. Good value for money and delicious every time. Friendly staff and always clean.
