Best Japanese restaurant in Christchurch! The food was so good and staff were so nice :) The view was so pretty. Highly recommend!
Wow. Stumbled upon this place and I am so impressed and will definitely be back. Fresh, top quality fish, amazing presentation. Best sushi I’ve had in Chch. The tacos are incredible. We ordered one each as a starter and would recommend ordering multiple, you’ll want more than one.
Why bother going to Japan when you have Kenzo! The food is absolutely the best and the ingredients were top quality. Presentation of the food is incredible and the staffs are very welcoming and considerate, they offered us spicy oil separately to the ramen to put them according to our preference. Can’t wait to visit again !
Sat down for lunch here it was a peaceful vibe, was a tad warm inside with the sun shining through the big windows. The food was fresh and tasty, the Takoyaki was really nice, the bento was as well, it just wasn’t my personal favourite. Just felt a bit plain and the dumplings were a little different from what I’m use to flavour and texture wise. Overall a nice place and I would try their other options some other time as they looked really nice.
Kenzo never disappoints. Absolutely gorgeous food and every dish is so beautifully presented. Perfect fresh sashimi and nigiri and top top tempura in town. Always a great experience.
Love the place! the dining area was clean, beautifully decorated and with long mirrors reflecting street lights, it made for a lovely romantic atmosphere. My partner and I went in for a dinner date, the food was AMAZING. Perfect portion sides and the staff was polite and friendly. The only thing holding this back from getting 5 stars was that we unknowingly ordered still water opposed to tap and was charged $12 for the still water. If we had known, we would have gone with tap. Still very much recommend this place, I will be coming back!
Superb experience we had with Kenzo. Always loving their fresh seafood range. Their maki roll is always my favourite!
