   This was major surprise in Christchurch. The sushi is fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. The service was friendly, polite, and efficient. I enjoyed selecting my own special plate of exactly what I wanted. Kind of like a stationary sushi train where you can get single serves of what you like instead of committing to a plate. Amazing.

   Really rate this place, i ended up getting a spicy karange chicken donburi as the sushi pricess were a little expensive and i was hungry. And for 22.90 the donburi was well worth it! It was Very delicious and a very good size with genourous chicken. Would 100% come again :)

   Amazing sushi, the best I had in Christchurch. Lots of flavour, fresh and plenty of choices. I enjoyed the unlimited ginger and they have a stamp card for every $15, you get a miso soup on your third meal.

   The food is great but all of their labels were incorrect. The octopus balls had 2 labels above it. One was vegan cheese ball and the other was tofu nigiri so I believed that food item did not contain animals. I do not eat octopus, they're my favourite animal. Because of the wrong labels I ate an octopus and I now feel sick :(

   I go to mugen for takeaway lunch as a treat because it is quite pricey. With that said, the sushi is always fresh and it's one of the few places that have unagi. Portion is a bit smaller than other places. Be prepared to pay approx $20++ per person for lunch.
