Asked for the spicy Sriracha chicken burger (the golden phoenix) and when we got it, not spicy at all, very little sauce, flavor and the chicken was dry. Who doesn't have like mayo in the coleslaw and but adds cilantro, the only flavors I could taste was the bun and the cilantro. Won't be coming back after that.
We drove all the way from Orewa to Stonefield's for lunch here. Separate fryer for gluten free chips and chicken bites. Burgers were great. Only problem is we ate too much because it was all so good! Thank you from the Coeliac community!
Absolutely mega fantastic burgers. Super good for gf/coeliac too. Their fryers are completely gluten free. The bun for the gluten free burger was also so good they actually hold the burger and dont fall apart. Fries were delicious and the shakes were sooooo good!! One of the best meals of our trip in New Zealand. Can't wait to return and eat here again. Highly recommend
I recently visited and found the experience didn’t quite meet expectations. The burger had very little meat, it was on the dry side, and I couldn’t pick up much of the flavours I was hoping for. My burger was meant to include jalapenos and chilli jam for a bit of heat, but the sweetness of the jam came through more than the spice. Overall, it was different from what I anticipated. I won't be returning. Sorry guys.
I haven't been here in a while, but it's always good food. A little different from the usual burger places, a little bit fancier, but worth it. Would recommend one plate of fries between two, unless you're really hungry. Today seemed a little slow, quite a few customers, not many staff. Not sure if that's normal, but there was a bit of a wait. Not fast food, but worth it.
Small burger place, you can select salad bowl instead of bread if you want low carb. Food are good, reasonable price. I like their fish bite, too

Had the standard burger and my daughter had the kids meal. Both were fantastic! French fries were awesome too. Definately recommended if in the area.
Amazing burgers here! I tried both the Guac Star and the Big Smoke and both were really interesting and tasty takes on burgers. You could tell the food was made there and not just frozen patties. Though I didn't eat it, there's a really nice relaxed vibe here. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other burgers!
My friend who has celiac disease was able to eat here - and not just a side of fries! She really enjoyed her “The 5 Star Man” with onion rings even, and my “Big Smoke” was fantastic. We both also thoroughly enjoyed our shakes - although, they don’t offer alternatives to dairy milk.
