   Coming from a grown woman who was once terrified by even the smell of a dentists clinic, I’d avoid a dentist visit at all costs. But recently i had a non negotiable issue and visited Macleans Dental. As if by magic I was put at ease, filled with confidence that I’d come to the right place and was treated with respect and care. 1 filling and 1 crown later I’m shocked to be singing the praises of Dr Shahba and her team and the incredible result. Not just the perfect job from an aesthetic stand point, but the fact I was relaxed and not at all anxious. I’m not scared anymore!! And I’ve found my dentist. Payment options to take the sting out of the cost which helped too

   I have had a extraction & filling so far & something I was really anxious about Dr Shahba Faraj took those anxieties & insecurities given me confidence in my oral health & smile, a pain free experience with wonderful staff, beautiful, clean clinic. Maclean's Dentist also does WINZ payments, which I also appreciate. Amazing Dr, highly recommend!

   Had a lovely time visiting Macleans dental! I didn’t know about them before but saw the google reviews and thought I should give them a try. So glad I did! Dr Faraj and Nasrin are both very kind and accommodating. They have very thorough follow-ups and reminders before appointments. And offered extra advice for any concerns I had.

   Amazing! So friendly and helpful, they were able to see me on the same day due to being in a lot of discomfort. From the moment I arrived the team were friendly and welcoming, they made sure I was comfortable and feeling no pain during the procedure. I recommend Macleans Dentist to anyone looking for a wonderful dentist.

   I cannot recommend Dr Shahba Faraj my father went there but was unhappy so changed to a different dentist. The first problem was that Dr Faraj was a bit moody and condescending when responding to questions. The second issue was that he noticed the equipment and decor seemed old and out of date (maybe it has been updated recently), but it didn't give him confidence that money was being invested in the best quality care. The third and biggest issue was that Dr Faraj recommended a course of treatment that was incompatible with my Father's health problems (which he had told Dr Faraj about). When he told the DHB Doctors what was recommended they freaked out and said that was incorrect. If you need a simple filling and a clean and you like her attitude maybe Dr Faraj is OK, but if you have more complex health problems and dental requirements I recommending avoiding her and finding someone with more comprehensive knowledge.
