   I’m writing to express my disappointment with a recent phone interaction I had with a receptionist named Lisa 2-3 months ago at your Lumino Botany branch (beneath MTF Finance, right next to Electrify NZ Bikes). I was inquiring about a dental appointment for my son, who is under 18 and eligible for government funded care. Lisa was unnecessarily rude and dismissive, leaving me feeling belittled. It’s concerning that she seemed unwilling to assist without a clear explanation. I urge you to review this matter, as proper phone etiquette and customer service are essential in any healthcare setting.

   *Update* Tuesday 5th August 2025 Why did you change your response to “you may have left this review to the wrong business” I did not leave a wrong review to the wrong business there is a dentist called “Dr Kelly” she’s even on your website. You’re located right next coffee and tea lovers in Botany. This just goes to show the lack of accountability that this dental practice has and it’s pretty disappointing to now accuse me of reviewing the wrong practice I will insert a photo of your previous reply. I want to remain anonymous hence why I have used my second email, after hearing what your colleagues said at the reception desk speaking down on other patients and swearing so why would I want this business to know my personal information. This Lumino Botany does not know how to show any sort of empathy not once have they apologised for this and this will forever be a traumatic experience. Please do not go here or see Dr Kelly she was terrible! I have many friends who live out these ways in Botany and they have also had difficult experiences with this dentist Dr Kelly and Lumino Botany. I will never come back to this dental clinic and I hope I bring awareness. 0\5 if there was the option. Saw Dr Kelly the other day and she made me wait 45 minutes in the waiting room. Got into the chair and her assistant next to her kept talking so loudly. Came to get my tooth pulled out but she struggled and it hurt my jaw then she calls in another dentist because she couldn’t do it 0/10 wouldn’t recommend Kelly. Also if you’re going to gossip at the front desk have some consideration as we can clearly hear what you are saying, unprofessional and not up to standards with the rest of the other dental clinics.

   I don't even have the words to describe the incredible service I got from everyone at this practice! I had a very late appointment and made it last minute, they where so accommodating while making the appointment as it was so late. I accidentally drive to the wrong practice but phoned them as soon as I realised I was at the wrong place. With absolutely no issues they assured me that everything is okay and I can still come for the appointment. Got there and was greeted with a very friendly receptionist and dental assistant. Filled out the form and the dr came and fetched me. He was very professional and very friendly, he also explained evrything very well and thoroughly without any rush to finish the appointment. He advised me that we will have to extract the tooth. He explained everything very well and made me feel at ease with the info. It was so quick and painless, as I am scared of needles the injection were done very good and I barely felt anything. It was over and done with very quick without any rush. The day after (today), they gave me a call to check up and asked how I was feeling. This was very nice as I haven't had dentists call after an appointment. Best dentist I've ever been to. Thank you!!!

   After a lot of research and reading of reviews, I have finally found a dentist I could trust in NZ. I just had my first consult with Dr. Kelly today and she’s been awesome. Very pleased with the service, she’s kind, friendly and respectful which made me feel comfortable. She’s developed a plan for me which gave me hope. She’s also very transparent about everything. All the staff I’ve encountered so far are very nice and friendly, too. Highly recommend!

   I really enjoy my treatment with Dr. Kelly. She’s very friendly and speaks Mandarin, which makes communication much easier. There’s no need to worry about not understanding medical terms. The whole experience was smooth and pleasant! Highly recommended.

   Just had an appointment today, staff are friendly. Went in for a check up/ x-ray and could I tell you, a very informative appointment on my oral health, was a good idea to get a second opinion. Was given a break down on oral treatments and costs Also took advantage of the new patient promo. It's a win! Dr Kelly, you're awesome! Looking forward to my next appointment
