   ​We had a really enjoyable breakfast experience at Books N Bricks Cafe yesterday morning. ​We started with a round of coffee, which was excellent and a great way to begin the day. For the meal, we ordered The Big Breakfast, which was satisfying and well-prepared, and the Rosti Benedict with grilled Halloumi, which was a delicious and interesting dish. ​The cafe's location is a huge plus. It was easy to find parking, and being situated so close to the beach was perfect. After our meal, we were able to enjoy a relaxing walk and the beautiful morning view. Books N Bricks is a wonderful choice for a quality breakfast in a convenient, scenic spot!

   This place just re-opened last week. Their bruch options are classic and delicious. They do a very good coffee! Would recommend the Rosti Benedict with hot smoked salmon! All their pastries and cakes are fresh and made in house too. Location is beautiful, you can half a walk along the beach after your meal! The new owners are lovely and very friendly!

   Wow. Seriously wow. Service was lovely, atmosphere was awesome, and the Big Breakfast I ordered was exactly that -A BIG breakfast! It was perfect, wouldn't change a single thing! Thanks for the excellent and yummy start to the day!

   Nestled in a beautiful location, Books n Bricks cafe in Auckland exudes a charming ambiance, but my breakfast experience left much to be desired. Opting for Eggs Benedict, I anticipated the delightful hollandaise sauce listed on the menu, yet to my dismay, an unpleasant mayonnaise-based sauce covered my dish, accompanied by undercooked eggs with runny whites and undersalted hash browns. The coffee was a saving grace, and the staff was friendly, but given the price, the lackluster breakfast left me dissatisfied to say the least. While the cafe's setting is lovely, I'd recommend sticking to drinks and simpler options like scrambled eggs until they improve their breakfast offerings.

   The staff were friendly and the café design is nice but inside was very hot. I ordered a Vegan Big Breakfast, I felt the hummus & avocado were rotten and hash browns were oily. I felt sick after having the food.
