Disappointing. My coffee was burnt and my friends hot chocolate tasted like warm milk. No flavour. Wouldn't recommend.
$7.50 for a steak and pepper pie that only had one tiny bit of steak in it. "In Australia and New Zealand, a meat pie, including steak pies, must contain a minimum of 25%" as per AS/NZ food standards
Got ignored the whole time, they steam the milk for the coffees over and over which is a health and safety issue. if im paying for a coffee i want fresh milk. not milk that has been sitting around for ages. reusing milk denatures the proteins resulting in a coffee that tastes off. the staff or rude.
This cafe is a little box of wonderful flavors. But the service is horrible, the poker face with which they serve you, they are too rude, I asked questions about the ice creams they had no idea about anything because they should! There are many food allergies here, the grandfather before me was treated horribly. We were waiting for ours and we preferred to go into the supermarket to buy some there. They gain nothing by having wonderful food if they serve you so badly. It doesn't make you want to go in, it's very sad and embarrassing how they treat the old people.
I needed a hammer and chisel to eat the tosted sandwich. Half was was waisted as it was inedible
Staff super unfriendly, didn't have a good experience. Ice cream tastes weird.
Good coffee and great selection of food (for takeaway only).
Worst customer service. The lady at the counter was frowning and snappy the whole time. I was told it was $8 for a double scoop of ice cream but got charged $8.50.
I'm a long time coffee drinker but I had my very first latte at this cafe. The barrissta was a young woman who made an excellent coffee. It was a real treat , we had it outside on the convenient public seating. An amazing Easter weekend day in the sunshine. Later we came back for some lunch and had their frittata. It was more than enough to fill the lunch time cravings. More than just a hole in the wall....
