   I visited Taste Explosion and had an amazing experience! The owner is very welcoming, the staff are extremely friendly and attentive, and the food… simply excellent! Everything is very well prepared and generously served. Definitely a place worth visiting and coming back to many times.

   Taste Explosion is a very welcoming restaurant. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive, making you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. I ordered a chicken burger with fries, and the food was delicious and very well served. The portions are generous, and everything was flavorful. I highly recommend!!!

   A cozy casual cafe serving cakes, pies, quiches, gourmet burgers, sandwiches, etc & drinks Good standard of food. The Egg Benedict, Mushroom Quiche and Beef Lasagne are done well. Good value meals vis-a-vis the quality & portions.

   Simple cafe tucked out the back and off the main street by the car park. They have indoor and outdoor undercover seating. Cabinet food choices or cooked meals. It wouldn't be a first choice option for a cafe in Howick, but not a bad second option. They do coffee stamp cards if you are a regular, so there is a discount after a number of coffee purchases

   Absolutely appalling. Got our order wrong more times than I can count. We were also overcharged but when we requested a refund for the overcharged portion we were ignored. Children's smoothies (this was breakfast time) consisted of ice cream and fruit flavoured sugar syrup, not even close to a fruit smoothie. Their very expensive bagel with cream cheese came with the grand total of a teaspoon of cream cheese, not enough to spread over the bagel. The kids orders were wrong so many times we actually left and went to a cafe that could provide what we ordered. Very expensive and certainly not reflective of quality and service.

   Piss poor. The breakfast states mushrooms. Not a single mushroom the size of my thumb. Toast was cold, butter was hard, food was bland. I have been here before and it was crap, but thought I would give it a second chance. Still crap. Even when i went to ask them about the mouse sized portion of "mushroom" there was another guy also complainig about something completely different. Poor all round.
