   “Parking’s Easy, Burger’s Meh, Vibes? McDonald’s.” Dropped by McDonald’s Greenlane for a dine in session yep, skipped the drive thru like a rebel... Parking was easy thanks to the massive Countdown lot (and a few McD’s own spots) so no parking rage today... Inside? Clean and bright but a bit crowded and noisy classic McDonald’s chaos soundtrack... I tried the Hawaiian burger for the first time… Tasted okay... Not amazing not terrible just vibing in the “meh” zone... But hey, let’s be real McDonald’s tastes 97.5% the same everywhere... It’s comfort food not gourmet... Toilets? Clean... Chairs and tables? Ehh... not so much... Let’s just say I wiped mine down like I was prepping for surgery... Still, it hit the spot... Fries were hot Coke was cold and the experience? Classic... “Logan was here… wiped the table, ate the burger, survived the noise.”

   This place feels really new! The playground is probably the biggest I’ve seen in a McDonald’s in New Zealand. You can sit at your table, order your food, and watch your kids play — the food even gets delivered right to your seat. Super convenient and family-friendly!

   I went to get a large takeaway cappuccino today, and it came so quickly. but it was almost cold by the time I took my first sip in the drive-thru. There was also no chocolate/cinnamon on top. It really felt like a mistaken coffee that had been sitting there. It was disappointing, and I hope more care can be taken with takeaway orders in the future.

   I never imagined I would review a Mc D's but here we go. To the staff who gave me a topping of chocolate sauce to my mcflurry's because I forgot to add it thank you for your kindness. And while I waited not one but two staff checked on me if I was okay...a true example of hospitality done right. The whole team looked happy and that joy reflected in the service. Tidy outlet.Well done team.

   This is by far one of the best McDonald’s locations I’ve been to. The staff are always friendly, polite, and genuinely seem to care about their work. The atmosphere is clean, welcoming, and well-maintained — you can really tell the team puts effort into keeping everything tidy and running smoothly. Service is consistently fast and efficient, even during busy times. It’s clear that customer experience is a priority here, and it makes a big difference. Great job to the whole team — it’s always a pleasure to come here!

   Self-service... order on screen and wait for order to be fulfilled and order number will be called out from the counter. Rated 1 star for service because it is consistently wanting. Staff always miss the little things... wrong sauce or no sauce... wrong burger... wrong drink... Atmosphere/environment is 1 star because the store is not clean. The tables and seats are not wiped down properly. The floor is often sticky... I don't think they prioritise the cleanliness of the environment. The store has a funky smell/odor. I recommend for the store to consider dedicated cleaner/s for the day.

   I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at your location on green lane at 15 april 2023. When I arrived, I found the table and play area to be very messy, and when I asked your staff to clean it up, they were unhelpful and rude. Despite my repeated requests for help, your staff only came to my table once and then left without completing the job. When I asked them to come back, they told me to clean the table myself with a tissue and cleaner, which I found to be very unprofessional and unacceptable. Furthermore, I noticed that there was a shortage of staff, which led to a poor customer experience overall. I expect better service from McDonald's and hope that you will take action to address these issues. I would appreciate it if you could provide me with a response to my complaint. Highly unprofessional staff.

   Probably one of the best McDonalds we've been to. Lots of parking with the closest marked with M. Lots of seating with some having access to power and USB ports. Range of seating to cater for individuals through to large groups. Very clean and well maintained throughout. Friendly staff.

   As expected for a McDs food wise. Happy with my large fries and partner had cheeseburger plus small fries. The drive thru was busy as expected for the time we visited. So decided to pop inside for our pre-dinner snack. One thing noted after we collected our food was how messy the place was. It was near impossible to find a clean table. And afterwards near impossible to find a bin we could put the rubbish into. Please see photos. Didn't feel welcoming or made me feel like returning in a hurry. Can't imagine how dirty it might be behind the scenes. Is it a McDonalds or is it a McDump ? This was where I wanted to go in my childhood days.... they have taken the magic out of it.
