It's such a shame having to write this review as we were so excited to be staying at Delamore Cove for a surprise birthday weekend but due to the January flooding, our house ended up completely submerged in rain water and we were unable to head over for our stay. We called the owner, Robbie, and told her our position surrounding the flooding and asked where we were to go from there. Robbie told us that it wasn’t her problem as we could "still technically come over", the ferries were still running and it was "just a bit of rain". After lots of back and forth, we were given only a partial refund and money was taken by her despite the state of emergency... A very disappointing outcome indeed.
