Will definitely come back to try more dishes! Beef rendang was packed with flavour, soft and not stringy to eat. The Roti needed to be cooked more as it was a bit raw in some spots. Chicken satay cooked unconventionally as one piece, but tasted okay as the delicious sauce made up for it. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Every customer looked like they’re enjoying their meals so I am still curious. While the food was good, the portion could be a little larger for the price. I will reorder the Beef Rendang but perhaps with rice next time.

my go-to for Malaysian food! excellent and authentic flavour. Rendang was deep and flavoursome, laksa was tasty and creamy!

The camera did not eat first unfortunately but that’s because this place is so fricking good you can’t help but eat as soon as the plate smacks the table. All dishes are full of flavour. My favourite is the Nasi Lemak. I don’t even live in Auckland but this is the first spot I’ll go when I’m back. I think about the food all the time. Please go here for me it’s so yummy.

$28 for this tiny bowl. Absolute rip off. I ordered the same dish from this restaurant three times and each order came out completely different. The portions were all over the place and nothing was consistent. The first time I received a large box of beef and thought the place seemed promising because the food tasted fine. The second time I got a similar amount of food, but they added rice even though the price was exactly the same as before. Then the third time was unbelievable, they sent a tiny portion in a small circular container that looked nothing like my previous orders. The size difference between each order is unacceptable and it feels like a total rip off. I am really disappointed with the lack of accuracy and consistency. I will not be ordering from this place again and I do not recommend it to anyone.

I appreciate the culinary experience, which is exceptionally flavorful and visually stunning. My inaugural visit was a delight, and I found the establishment to be pleasant, intimate, and welcoming. The meals are reasonably priced, with generous portions. I will definitely return and highly recommend this establishment to acquaintances. The service is warm, friendly, and attentive.

Been to many Malaysian restaurants recently and they all seem to have gone down in quality. So decided to come to this refurbished restaurant. Ordered the nasi lemak beef rendang and the fish collar noodle soup. The rendang was quite yummy, not too dry, tender and good quantity. The coconut rice was slightly above the optimal wetness but still yum. Fish collar soup was really good, it tasted homely and makes you happy inside. The fish amount is not as much as Papparich but taste is better. Overall, I think this place improved a lot. Would rather come here than Papparich, Sri pinang, Treasure kitchen and Sim's kitchen.

Very authentic Malaysian cuisine. Been there for lunches and dinner. Laksa are delicious with a variety of toppings. And portions of food are sizable. Need to go there more times to try other dishes.

Delicious food and good portion size, I was especially impressed with the larksa...i ordered the combo seafood and chicken but didn't really need the chicken. Soup was tasty without being too Spicy, just right for me. Can get quite busy, we arrived just before 12pm to secure a table.

Finally I am here! To a Malaysian food lover like me, this one I have been waiting for a long time since it was still called "Mama Rich". It's a nice and neat family style restaurant, with selections of Malaysian Chinese signature dishes. This was my pre-birthday lunch with a super sweet friend of mine. He ordered everything we ate because he's a regular guest here. I am not saying they are the best in town but they can be surely ranked in top 5. The food was just yummy and beautiful, love it!

Arguably one of the best places to have authentic Malaysian food. Had the Hainanese Chicken Rice and the Beef Rendang here.. they knocked it out of the park. Loved it. Came back within 2 days to try their Char Kway Teo and Gong-bao.
