I had this big islanders dude cutting my hair. And when I sat down ready to get my hair cut. The barber was on his phone for 5 phone making me wait. Then proceed to cut my hair and gave me something I didnt want even tho I showed him photos of what I wanted. And his long nails kept on pocking my face. Didn't enjoy the experience at all. Would never go back.

Honestly should've read the reviews first, seems like they're only good at cutting kids hair. Haircut is alright, not worth $80, would pay $50 for this. Brother needs to learn what a fade is, and some basic customer service skills. Did a scissor cut on dry hair which was odd. At the end he didn't brush off the cut hair, or say bye. Another dude that was sweeping handled the payment. Professionalism is lacking big time. Booked in for a 5pm cut, got finally seen at 5:40. A couple of guys asked my name and then went back. Obviously they tried to fit in a walk in and got the timing wrong. I think they ended up switching my barber at the last minute, the guy that cut me was sitting at reception for like 10 minutes waiting around. Shitty experience with the vibes of the place. The two barbers on either side were laughing and making faces, obviously at the crap haircut on me. Really felt like I was being mocked the whole time. Overall its advertised as a welcoming place that gives the best possible experience, could've got a better cut at one of the barbers out at Southmall that are actually good at thier job.

I had this massive guy breathing down my neck the entire time, and let me tell you, he absolutely ruined my life. I can’t even step outside without feeling like the world is laughing at me. My confidence? Gone. My dignity? Shattered. And for what? A haircut that looks like it was done with a blindfold on. But hey, it’ll grow back, right? Sure, in about a million years. I specifically asked for the Garnacho haircut—showed him photos, explained it in detail, even pointed out exactly what I wanted. And what did he do? He nodded, all smug, like, “Oh yeah, a drop fade, I got you.” Spoiler alert: he did NOT “got me.” Instead, he turned me into a walking, talking mushroom. A literal mushroom. I look like I belong in a Mario game, not in public. The worst part? He had the audacity to act like he nailed it. Like, bro, are we looking at the same head? I trusted you with my hair, my identity, my entire vibe—and you butchered it. I can’t even look in the mirror without cringing. It’s like he took my request, threw it in the trash, and decided to freestyle his way into ruining my week, my month, my year. Now I’m stuck hiding indoors, praying for my hair to grow back fast enough to erase this disaster. And the next time someone says, “Trust the process,” I’m going to lose it. Because this? This is not a process. This is a crime against haircuts.

My visit with Sim was disappointing. The barber was distracted chatting with friends, the beard trim was sloppy—like a child's attempt—and he smelled like alcohol, It was unprofessional and a waste of money

My son (11 months old) had his first hair cut here. Ata was very friendly and patient in handling my son. It was a good experience for our family. We were late for our appointment and on top of that my son was hungry so we had to feed him, Ata was accommodative. They were also okay to click some pictures. I would highly recommend them. We actually booked Taz, but he was overseas is what they told us, maybe you can update the booking with the right schedules to do better.

Taz and the guys are very professional and look after you for a haircut. The Grooming Cave is easy to find at Sylvia Park and the booking system via link tree is easy tou use and convenient. All the best & Happy days.

The barbers here were so upbeat and professional even though it was close to closing time on a late night. My boys had a great experience and said the barbers were really funny. We will be back!

I am male, stopped by while shopping for clothes and stuff to see if I could get a hair cut. I was instantly given service. I had shoulder length hair and asked for the sides and back to be shaved to a number 2, leave me with a few cm on top and a fringe. You know basic male haircut stuff, essentially what the guy cutting my hair had. Part way through he told me I should keep a bit of the hair at the back and braid it. A horsetail or something. He said it looks bad on most people but he thought I could pull it off. I was hesitant so he went around the room and got all the other Barbers to chuck in their 2 cents. The consensus was a jovial "yeah looks good". I said I would try it out but still felt apprehensive about the whole thing. Now about a week later I can only say I was wrong. I actually really like it. First time I have ever been complimented for my haircut besides the whole cookie cutter "nice". It's a new feeling and it's all thanks to this guy. 5/5 stars.
